7 days after extraction - infection or just recovery

So had an extraction of a molar a week ago today

There was an underlying infection that the dentist said would clear up now extracted

I understand some soreness is to be expected, but the general area feels a bit swollen still to me and tender. Just after either confirmation that everything looks as it should about a week after extraction or if I should make a follow-up appointment.

Excuse my gross teeth!

That one time it was the labs fault

So mostly do my own b and w dev and scan and sometimes do my own c41

Recently dropped some rolls off from a work trip to Morocco and decided to let the lab handle the b and w (delta 400) too. They told me they “slightly” over developed the b and w, and when I got the scans (examples pics 1 and 2) I couldn’t believe it. I was gutted, especially as I planned to use these in the dark room too.

They posted the negs back but when I queried they said I massively overexposed (made little sense to me tbh - given the result) and they tried to fix as much as possible.

Had the negs back this am and was shocked to see they looked fine. Scanned quickly myself with a base profile for delta 400 (pics 3 and 4).

It was just crazy as dev and scan is not cheap - have messaged for a refund.

Received a 500cm with 2 a12 backs for Christmas from my amazing wife. Have had to make a couple fixes myself already like finding where a mystery loose screw goes and then having to bend the film plate lever doohickey to a spot where I can get the magazine back inside the case. Now I’m looking to fix this: I am missing the knob for the crank on my a12 back. Anywhere that I can get a new one without having to buy a whole new back?

Just got my first camera and the guy that sold it to me said the lens had zero fungus. Can anyone confirm for me if this is fungus before I go and see about returning it? Thank you
