Problems with setup

I have the Roku Streaming Stick. Just got it today, never been used.

Every time I plug it in, a white light will show for a few seconds, the light will then blink several times before turning off. From what I’ve googled it sounds like it’s trying to connect to the internet, but I haven’t even been able to turn the device on to set the internet up in the first place. Google also said it could be a problem with the power supply, but I’ve tried connecting it to everything within reach of the TV, including directly into the wall, and I’m still not getting anything.

Good recommendation for a video game store on the West side?

I’m looking to buy a Wii and would rather not go to GameStop. Google is showing me a bunch of board game stores. Somewhere around Brownsburg/Avon would be great but I’ll take all recommendations. TIA!

Highland Steak Recipe shared by u/spacebarstool

Tried out this Dean Martin steak recipe. Used a choice chuckeye steak I had in the freezer and followed the instructions exactly, the only thing I omitted was, unfortunately, the scotch at the end. Overall the results were pretty good. I think the olive oil and worcestershire made it harder to get as much of a crust as I normally would but I still got decent grill marks. Overall 7/10 steak recipe. Nothing to knock your socks off but not bad at all.

I accidentally made the chewiest brownies I’ve ever had

I got creative with the brownie recipe and they ended up so damn chewy. Probably even too chewy for many people. I used half a banana instead of the egg and I mixed in half an almond chocolate bar when I mixed the batter. I decided to cook it in a round pan just because I was curious. The sides and the entire bottom are like the best brownie edges you could have. The second picture show the engraving from the pan imprinted onto the bottom the pan. I had to smack the brownies free from the pan.

Update on Shitting in Public

This morning I finally had the shitting in public prompt fail to produce a friendship.

Vanessa Fisk: “I’ve never tried shitting in public. Not once in my entire life.”

Ned Stark: “Are you seriously telling me you’ve never tried shitting in public? That’s just normal.”

Vanessa: “Oh. Let me remove my foot from my mouth.”

I guess it’s fitting that Ned Stark was the only one to see through my bullshit. I’m interested to see if the game catches on to you reusing prompts, maybe there will be more rejections soon.

I’ve recently discovered that when you have a Mii ask what they should talk to someone about, or what they should have two other Miis talk about, the phrase “Shitting in public” has led to a success every time for me.

Without fail, the first Mii will say:

“I’ve never tried shitting in public”

to which the other will reply:

“Me neither.”

This is enough common ground for your Miis to become friends. Truly a testament to the power of good bathroom manners.

And no, this post is not a joke I am 100% serious that this works.
