*with all the free time in the world, kit realized she could take a much needed vacation*

*after a short flight in the nimble she stopped at a small tropical island... like the one on flappers' gameworld. poor guy*

"come on, kit. you're here to relax"

*switching on her diving gear, she went to do some exploring of a coral reef. it really was a beautiful. everything was so colorful and alive*

*she was enjoying it so much she headed deeper and deeper. on the horizon was a small grey fin.*

"should have guessed. hey flappers! i see you there"

no response

"flappers?"

suddenly, a massive shark surged towards her. not flappers

"oh no no no no"

*she could focus her blaster in panic, but miraculously hit it square on the nose. the shark turned and swam off*

"okay. shallow water for me"

*and she headed back to enjoy herself*

(sorry for not being active for a while been busy with college and other stuff. will try to interact more)

*1 year since her dramatic first entrance into mobius, louve woke early in an empty house. it had been like this for some months but didn't get any more comfortable. she sleepily checked the calendar*

"October 4... hold on, I've been here for.... a whole year? sweet gaia, time goes fast. right, gadget?"

*she remembered gadget wasn't here. as usual*

"well... i can have my own fun. come on"

*it was still dark, but that didn't trouble her*

*so she went for a walk along the streets of smokestack. it was peaceful but uneventful. ordered some salty chips and sat on the pier.*

"man. a year..."

she thought about all of her adventures:

encountering gadget (that had been rather violent)

fighting against the prototype's corruption

helping to stop sage's conquest

and so much more!

*she sighed. despite that, the one person she had to thank wasn't here. the one who wished for a friend and pulled her into mobius.*

"come on, louve. stop moaning"

*at this moment, the sunrise came over the town, illuminating her. it was gorgeous. back in her world, the sun was polluted out long ago. she would make this moment last forever, if possible*

*then her phone buzzed. a call!*

gadget: "hey loof! sorry i haven't been in touch. tournament duties are LONG. tangle might be going insane"

louve: "sounds... fun."

gadget: "oh. it is. ha ha. but i wish you were here too. i miss you."

*she smiled to herself*

louve: "me too. more than i can say."

some muttering on the other end of the phone*

gadget: "im sorry, i have to start my morning shift."

louve: "before you go, i just want to say thank you. for everything. i haven't felt as happy as i have this year, not since... the war. just take care of yourself, ok?"

gadget didn't know what to say. but he eventually did

"ill try my best. you've made my life better too. i wouldn't have it any other way"

*the phone call ended. but she didn't feel sad. after all, she had a whole day to enjoy herself! time to stop moping and go out there*

probably a hot take because it's less watched than MD and TADC but there are just so many standout tracks in this show. it has 2 fantastic vocals themes, some great credits themes, and other fantastic tracks like regeneration, new home and especially blue jay. i was just getting over the ending then listened to it in full. my gosh it's heartbreaking to listen to

the other shows have great tracks but imo meta runner is still on top

istg every time she opens her mouth i want to warp into the show and punch her

she's so incredibly petty she just exists to be a pain in the ass to tari, showing up whenever she's about to get close to victory

and then, i reach episode 7 and she not only KILLS THEO but brags about doing it directly to tari's face

so, if glitch wanted this character to be as annoying as possible, they succeeded with flying colours.

*another day, another match. dodon pa had insisted this fight would be safer watched behind a screen, which was unusual until they saw the location*

"welcome to the climax of round 1! and it only took..."

"3 months. yikes. anyway, i thought this would be an interesting climax. the idea just came to me when i was trying to sleep... anyway. this apocalyptic hellscape has a bunch of....eyeball things that drag you to certain doom. unless you touch these lamp things...."

"um... the landscape is fragmented and broken. you'll start in this lava city (crisis city) but reaching the teleport button on the far right will shift the area to an ancient castle (kingdom valley) and a snowy hidden base in the mountains. (white acropolis) there will also be these.... weird worm things that can jump up out of the ground and attack"

*he looked at his notes with sadness*

"oh... oh yes! the fighters! sonic needs no introduction, obviously. given his legendary status. and brawling against him is his best friend, tails! sonic is a strong fighter, but can mr prower's gadgets and cunning get him the upperhand? we shall see!"

*suddenly, his phone buzzed. his face fell a full 10 feet. he hurried off. despite an overwhelming excitement for the match, tangle decided to follow. but that was a story for another time*

yeah immersion is probably the reason but I'd rather be able to take a break from the boss without having to replay the climb over a more cinematic boss

toby could just put an optional flame that teleports you to the final ledge like he did for jackenstein and the sound of justice

i wanna replay this boss and get better but evertime i remember i have to waste 5-10 minutes on the climbing

in the crate rush event, i had 1900 a-coins and decided to spin once knowing I'd probably regret it later. the only things i already had were 2 low power weapons

and i got outlaw (:

*dodon pa was straining to talk over the Sound of rain and wind. enthusiasm was limited, as he insisted everyone gather in open stands at the top of a skyscraper, that was in the middle of One of the worst storms gadget had ever seen. he noted there was a radio dish which he had no idea how it was clinging on. the floor was soaked and slippery which looked mildly unsafe*

"for this round, the fighters will have to contend with the greatest force of all.....nature? who wrote that. no, focus, it's not power, obviously it's the art of raci- ahem"

"this time, zephyr spark will be pitted against metal sonic in the ultimate test of will. can they tune out the storm, the raging wind, and-"

*a massive clap of thunder shook the tower*

"find the calm within to take victory? we shall see!"

*a brief pause*

"oh and i forgot to mention, the out of bounds win condition is knocking the other person off the skyscraper. good luck!"

i don't remember having problems 'opening up' she befriends gumigoo quite quickly. she has a therapy talk were she opens up 2 episodes in a row

she also makes more effort to befriend jax than she does to anyone else

i guess her deflection of ragatha's affection? but i put that down as not wanting to be treated as a child, which is reflected in her room

pomni really needed to be explored more ngl

*ribbit snapped awake. she'd had a horrible nightmare involving floating in a strange void. she shook it off. the loneliness must have been getting to her. she got up from the park bench she had fallen asleep on (she'd had a lot of practice before the circus after all)*

*she blearily stumbled into a breakfast shop. after studying the menu she ordered some toast and looked out the window with silent, painful regret. some of her best times had been hot chocolate with kaufmo and.... jax*

"it was perfect until i had to ruin everything. I'm such a dumb frog"

*she suddenly jumped back in shock! there was a cup of hot chocolate she never ordered. even stranger, it looked like it came directly from the circus. she sipped*

"this... is exactly the same taste.... but how....."

*this was too weird. she hadn't ordered this. she wouldn't. she was probably just tired and needed fresh air. the waiter stopped her to ask for the bill*

"oh no, oh @"$$ i should have thought about...."

*she looked down at her hand. clasped in it was a stack of notes. and her hand... was she going insane or was it glowing a few seconds ago? she dropped the notes and ran*

"welcome back to the tournament! for round 5, ive decided to step things up a little. the giant cube will slowly rotate in the air. will you be able to keep up with your opponent and avoid a nasty fall? we'll have to see!"

"will warrior mordred or spark claim victory? the stakes are high!"

*louve shuffled down the street and tried to think of something to keep herself entertained but nothing came. her star mark was dull and had been for weeks. she moodily sat on a park bench and ate a ham sandwich. it tasted of bordem.*

*suddenly her phone buzzed... gadget! she scrambled for her messages*

*it read: "hi loof! just sending a message to let you know I'm ok. things have been progressing... slowly. but we're halfway..."*

*she perked up, then read further*

*"through round 1. still, sunset are gorgeous and food is great. anyways, talk to you later. gotta go do my daily patrol.*

*she moodily shut off the phone and slumped down. 2 months for 4 matches. but there was a growing anxiety as well. she couldn't do anything to protect him if there was trouble. she muttered under her breath*

"just... be safe, ok? please"

*she then sat and watched some paint dry for the rest of the day*

second one seems fine until you remember garmadon only forges the mega weapon at the end of the episode

"due to some... technical difficulties last match"

*dodon pa whispers off screen. something like "i thought the death eggs were deactivated, focus... nevermind. all in the art of ra- fighting"*

"ANYWAY! after a 3 week break we're back with our next match: espio the chameleon vs vile! which of these skilled warriors will come out on top? and this arena isn't just a generic circle..."

*dodon pa dramatically clicked a remote. the arena lit up with purple light.....the circle in the centre started to rotate*

"it spins!"

*there was a deep silence*

"err... that's not all. hitting this stone..."

*he gestured to the edge of the map, to 2 particularly bright stones*

"pink will cause the rotate faster! but be how fast will you risk to knock the opponent off their feet? and purple will shoot arrows or something. who will claim victory? we shall see!"

OOC rules:

1. don't power game. try to make the match fun for both players (ie don't kick the other person off as soon as it starts) if something is way too broken either don't use it or limit it to a healthy amount

2. match ends when one person is knocked off the edge of the map

morro is able to attend the summit as the ambassador for the spectral lands. how? i assumed ghosts couldn't leave, like the never realm barrier in reverse

i find it hard to believe not a single ghost just tried to leave and walk back to were they died and continue as they left off

seems really odd morro can just go to Ninjago for a few days
