*ribbit snapped awake. she'd had a horrible nightmare involving floating in a strange void. she shook it off. the loneliness must have been getting to her. she got up from the park bench she had fallen asleep on (she'd had a lot of practice before the circus after all)*

*she blearily stumbled into a breakfast shop. after studying the menu she ordered some toast and looked out the window with silent, painful regret. some of her best times had been hot chocolate with kaufmo and.... jax*

"it was perfect until i had to ruin everything. I'm such a dumb frog"

*she suddenly jumped back in shock! there was a cup of hot chocolate she never ordered. even stranger, it looked like it came directly from the circus. she sipped*

"this... is exactly the same taste.... but how....."

*this was too weird. she hadn't ordered this. she wouldn't. she was probably just tired and needed fresh air. the waiter stopped her to ask for the bill*

"oh no, oh @"$$ i should have thought about...."

*she looked down at her hand. clasped in it was a stack of notes. and her hand... was she going insane or was it glowing a few seconds ago? she dropped the notes and ran*

"welcome back to the tournament! for round 5, ive decided to step things up a little. the giant cube will slowly rotate in the air. will you be able to keep up with your opponent and avoid a nasty fall? we'll have to see!"

*louve shuffled down the street and tried to think of something to keep herself entertained but nothing came. her star mark was dull and had been for weeks. she moodily sat on a park bench and ate a ham sandwich. it tasted of bordem.*

*suddenly her phone buzzed... gadget! she scrambled for her messages*

*it read: "hi loof! just sending a message to let you know I'm ok. things have been progressing... slowly. but we're halfway..."*

*she perked up, then read further*

*"through round 1. still, sunset are gorgeous and food is great. anyways, talk to you later. gotta go do my daily patrol.*

*she moodily shut off the phone and slumped down. 2 months for 4 matches. but there was a growing anxiety as well. she couldn't do anything to protect him if there was trouble. she muttered under her breath*

"just... be safe, ok? please"

*she then sat and watched some paint dry for the rest of the day*

second one seems fine until you remember garmadon only forges the mega weapon at the end of the episode

"due to some... technical difficulties last match"

*dodon pa whispers off screen. something like "i thought the death eggs were deactivated, focus... nevermind. all in the art of ra- fighting"*

"ANYWAY! after a 3 week break we're back with our next match: espio the chameleon vs vile! which of these skilled warriors will come out on top? and this arena isn't just a generic circle..."

*dodon pa dramatically clicked a remote. the arena lit up with purple light.....the circle in the centre started to rotate*

"it spins!"

*there was a deep silence*

"err... that's not all. hitting this stone..."

*he gestured to the edge of the map, to 2 particularly bright stones*

"pink will cause the rotate faster! but be how fast will you risk to knock the opponent off their feet? and purple will shoot arrows or something. who will claim victory? we shall see!"

OOC rules:

1. don't power game. try to make the match fun for both players (ie don't kick the other person off as soon as it starts) if something is way too broken either don't use it or limit it to a healthy amount

2. match ends when one person is knocked off the edge of the map

morro is able to attend the summit as the ambassador for the spectral lands. how? i assumed ghosts couldn't leave, like the never realm barrier in reverse

i find it hard to believe not a single ghost just tried to leave and walk back to were they died and continue as they left off

seems really odd morro can just go to Ninjago for a few days

so many iconic things happened here. the grundle incident, the first stone warrior, morro possessing lloyd, the hall of villany from DOTD, the battle with the time twins, and the fight for the scroll of forbidden spinjitsu

I'd love to see these recreated in a big set. I'd honestly prefer it to borg tower, given how much history it spans

there's so many incredible tracks we still haven't officially got. the theme for day of the departed, the triumphant version of the overture (plays at times like leaving chen's Island) arin's theme, nya's theme when she merges with the sea, etcetera

imo that would be awesome since the 15th anniversary one was a great build with the entire team

the message of school reunion was that some things are worth getting your heart broken for. rose acknowledges this. eventually, doomsday comes and rose is trapped in the parallel universe. it's incredibly iconic and tragic... kind of

journey's end comes around. rose gets her own doctor to go on adventures with, completely undermining the tragedy of doomsday

even worse. in the target storybook, there's a story called the turning of the tide. the opening describes rose as having a pregnancy bump. just a disguise? nope. rose is going to have a child with the metacrisis soon after the story finishes

idk. maybe you like her happier ending and that's fine. but i just don't think this was how it should have ended up. doomsday was tragic for a reason and I'd prefer if it had stayed that way

just my opinion though. also I've not listened to big finish so idk how good those are

if you've visited their channel it mostly consists of powerscaling polls. most of the time these polls have strange results (acting as if rouge is jay at his strongest for example)

this would be fine. the problem is they don't back up their defenses with actual reason. it's mostly sarcastic or ignorant

for example: if you state why one character slams their only response will be something like "gets slammed* "

as i said, the weird results would be fine if they were willing to back them up with actual defenses. but it's just frustrating talking to them

9th doctor slows down time (doctor who): in order to reach a button that will save the day, the doctor needs to get past multiple spinning blades. he closes his eyes, concentrates, and is able to slow down time and reach the button

jay uses wind (ninjago): during episode 10, the green ninja, lightning ninja jay pushes aside some fire using wind. no character acknowledges he does this and it's never brought up again. even stranger is the main villain of season 5 is morro, master of wind. so he shouldn't be able to use that power anyway

dodon pa: "welcome to the 3rd fight! i think now we've settled it's time for a unique arena. i allowed by assistant focus shadow to select for me"

*at the press of a button a warp portal opened to a specialized arena. screens showed the location*

"the location is.... sunset heights? focus... are you sure? isn't this a little sensitive....oh well. it'll be fine."

*gadget was visibly uncomfortable*

"in this arena, fighters will have to contend with fire bombs and deadly death egg robots!"

"our competitors today: metal sonic and metal sonic 3.0! which will prove themselves focused enough to win in this chaos? we shall see!"
