I’m 34. I wrote these entries when I was 18-19 so forgive my invalid opinion regarding the cigars I thought were bad but are actually great (such as the fancy Padron). Anyway, fun to reminisce on the past and re-read my reviews. For those skeptical on the price of the Behike, it was legit. Just had a friend of a friend give me an insane deal. It’s the only one I’ve ever smoked. All other Cubans were purchased at La Casa del Habano in Cancun before I left for Basic Training. Good times. Hope you enjoy lol💨

I’ve gotten a really bad taste in my mouth about Rolex lately mainly due to what Rolex culture has become and how I was last treated at my Rolex AD. Since then, I never wear my Sub and I am highly considering trading it for the 41mm Chrono Sport. I wear my Tudors way more (love Tudor). Given this is a Zenith sub, I understand there to be bias. What are your thoughts?

Wearing for whole month of August. Starting to get green and grimy at 12 o’clock end link. No plans to clean it.

Purchased 01 August. Wearing all month. Curious to see how fast or slow it develops a patina in this Texas humidity.

I’ve owned my Sub for 3 months. Having said that, I took my watch to my AD to be sent to the RSC for a bezel replacement. AD called today with bad news informing me that no matter what Rolex tried, they couldn’t realign it. Rolex also informed them it was within spec. Good news is that I don’t have to pay the original quote to fix it since…they didn’t. Am I SOL? Is there really nothing that can be done? If not, can anyone please better explain why Rolex is claiming this cannot be corrected? My eyes are drawn straight to it which is why I rarely wear it. Thanks for any help.

I called the AD service rep back and he stated what the RSC rep told him, “The replacement bezels at the RSC are all slightly misaligned and that it’s not worth their time to sort through their bezels to find one that is properly aligned.” Even though I’d be paying for it. Super frustrating.

Tried it out again with two boiled eggs. Boiled them for 30 minutes. Someone said it creates a higher sulfur concentration. These look so damn cool. I can simply reverse the process any time I want by dipping them back to normal. I’m having a ton of fun doing this!

Did the boiled egg experiment last night. Left them in overnight. Eagle came out looking the best but not amazing. Any specific time for best results? Fun experiment either way. Can’t wait for the boomers to get so butthurt😂
