Do you think it’s weird that Patrick Bateman,Clay and Vampires exist in the same universe

The Informers takes place in the same universe as Rule Of Attraction, Less Than Zero, and American Psycho. And one story in The Informers the main character is an actual vampire. Like to me those stories are grounded and anything extra ordinary can be explained by an unreliable narrator. But Vampires canonically share a universe with Julian being pimped by Finn, Patrick working in mergers and acquisitions, and Sean pretending to be Peter the freshman.like imagine if Ian Flemming had world building notes that’s says “while vampires are never featured in a James Bond novel, they do exist in that world”

“But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!” Revelation 3:16 can you please answer the question in the body About this verse?

Does this mean on judgement day. Jesus would receive a Jewish person or a Mandaean who lived their lives cursing Jesus as a fraud more warmly. Than a casual Christian who believes Jesus is lord but didn’t take the religion too seriously?

Why do you think Patrick visited his mom at Sandstone

In rules of attraction he seeks to have nothing but contempt for his mother. Saying she should have been institutionalized years ago. He’s under no obligation to visit his mom. His brother all but disowned him and his dad’s dead so they wouldn’t care if visits or not. She very likely wouldn’t remember her son visited the next day or even an hour after he leaves. He seems completely unsure of himself when he’s there. What do you think he was looking for when he came?

Her “The Hightower line won’t bring the prince that was promised” might have WHENT hard in the book cannon. But since the show is leaning into the House Whent is from Aemond and Alys theory. That means it absolutely did.

I love the irony that Evelyn tells Patrick that he isn’t the grinch after he steals Paul Owen’s gift for his wife for her.

Like that’s objectively the most grinch thing you can do.

I think it’s crazy when Patrick Bateman first showed up in Rules Of Attraction. He was meant to me Sean’s conservative, boring, square, stick in the mud brother

Do you consider Renly a usurper or does Stannis becoming a Faith Of The Seven apostate gives renly a claim. Like William Of Orange against Catholic King James?

It’s easy to make fun of this but imagine it’s the 70s and you’re a Detroit business man and you go to the golden nugget on vacation. You had a medical episode and Steve Wynn himself drives you the hospital. It would do wonders for the place’s reputation

I’m halfway done with the last magicians book by Lev Grossman and it made me wish that Tash or Swift was a Ram instead of a Mesopotamian mix of animals or a gorilla

Like I feel like a Ram fits more as an anti Aslan because it’s not ugly , in fact Rams are strong and dignified but it’s horns give it a sinister aura.

Forget tax polices. If Aragorn was a member of Areys II Kingsguard. Would he allow Areys to burn Kingslanding at the last day of the war

Like he was in exactly Jaime’s shoes when he told the pyromancers to set the bombs off. What would he do?

Do you think Voldemort during his peak ever threw parties akin to Salo and do you think Snape participated in those parties?
