The Lost Continent - feeling nostalgic photos

I was always drawn to the Lost Continent in Islands of Adventure, even though I never experienced it in its prime. I know there were shows and maybe a ride there? Here are some photos that I took on my last few trips. I have some more and may post those. Enjoy.

Need some encouragement

I was on Wegovy 1.5 for about 6 weeks. Great results and no side effects at all. I feel like it retrained my mind to eat less, stop snacking and make healthy choices. I had to stop the pill for a minor medical procedure two weeks ago and am allowed to restart next week. At this point the food noise is back and I have definitely gained a few pounds. Has anyone stopped for about 3 weeks and gone back on to positive results ? Does it just pick up again after a few days ?

Why did my iPad make the find my sound when I was sleeping?

I went to bed around 10 last night only to be woken up by my iPad ringing with the find my sound. How did this happen if I hadn’t lost my iPad and wasn’t looking for it? I’m the only one who has access so I’m really confused. How did this happen?

Update: The teen says she looked for my iPad around 8:30 to order some food - still doesn’t explain why it went off at 11:30

I have to stop Wegovy 8 days before a medical procedure. Any tips?

I've been on Wegovy 1.5 for 5 weeks and have had great success with no side effects. Lost 14lbs so far. I just found out I have to stop for 8 days before a procedure and then can restart after my follow-up visit. Has anyone else stopped for a short period like this before? What should I look out for? I've made great progress and don't want to reverse it.

One month on 1.5 and down 14lb

I started one month ago exactly and down 14lbs. on 1.5 with no side effects at all. I’ve been tracking all my food and exercising 5 days a week. The Wegovy has really given me the will power not to binge or eat too much. After discussing it with my Dr we decided to stay on 1.5 another month. Has anyone ever just stayed with 1.5 without going to a higher dose?

Also want to thank this community for all the information and motivation.

Festival application question

I just encountered this question on a festival application and am not completely sure how to answer it. What do you think they are getting at ? "Please describe the internal practices utilized by the filmmakers in regards to consent of the film’s subjects."

How often do you weigh yourself?

I’ve been on 1.5 for about a month and have lost 13 pounds. I’ve been weighing myself about every other day and encouraged by the results. Now I’m thinking about weighing myself once a week since the weight loss is slowing down. How often does everyone else weigh themselves and why?

Headaches disappeared on Wegovy

I used to get a headache or migraine once or twice a week and would treat with a prescribed pill. I’ve been on Wegovy for 3 weeks and haven’t had 1 headache. Is this a coincidence or have others noticed this beneficial side effect ?

U.S. Did I fall for a fake Citibank scam?

I realized I lost my Citibank debit card. I was out on the street and quickly googled “contact Citibank help” and the attached web page (pictured. Looks like a legit Citibank contact to me) came up. I called the number and someone answered immediately (that should’ve set off a red flag). They said “Citibank” and asked for my name. I told them I lost my card. They asked if I checked for recent transactions. I said yes. They said before we proceed you have to put the phone on speaker and download an app to check for any false charges. I opened the Citibank app and told them I was ready to search. They told me not to search in the Citibank app but in the App Store. Then they told me to download an app called “Duplica”. It’s described as a screen mirroring app. I then knew this was some kind of scam and hung up. My question is: they have my name phone number and know that I lost my card - what kind of scam is this ?

First week on 1.5. Did I lose too much?

I started 1.5 on Monday May 25th and so far have lost almost 7 pounds. Goal weight is 173 which I weighed in 2020. I have so side effects on the pill and somehow the food noise started dissipating within 24 hours. This week I had to attend 3 social dinners and only ate small healthy snacks during the day. I’m not sure if this pace is healthy. Any suggestions?

Day 3 of 1.5 and I'm composting my kids leftovers instead of eating it.

Is that progress or just the discipline of a beginner? How long until the pills start to work? Do you think it helps or hurts to weigh yourself every day in this early stage?

Visited the Valentino Foundation

After a morning at the Capitoline Museum decided to visit a modern exhibit at the Valentino Foundation near the Spanish Steps. Really beautiful exhibit of Valentino dresses mixed in with modern sculptures by Joana Vasconcelos. Highly recommend. Tickets online here https://piazzamignanelli23.com/en
