I kept seeing red beans and rice coming across my feed on YT. So, I made red beans & rice, fried cat fish, and coleslaw. I also made homemade remoulade and also had hot sauce. I am looking forward to leftovers tomorrow. 🔥🔥

My tabitico (not seen: white chin, chest, stomach, boots, and brown/black checkerboard body) is a senior girl. But, I looked at her gently snoozing in the cubby my granddaughter gave her, and she looks adorbs like the day I adopted her in 2018 as a beat-up 10 mo old kitten who was missing fur, slashed in her skin, and part of her tail almost falling off (it fell off, eventually), and still adorable. I love my GiGi, the soul kitty for me. ❤️
I recently started shopping at Aldi's due to the cost of groceries at other chain grocery stores in my area. So, I bought this box of chocolate when shopping b/c I had a sweet tooth. And when I tell you this is the creamiest and best tasting toffee bar I've ever had, I mean it! It puts Hershey in the grave! This box has six individually wrapped bars inside. So, you don't have to feel like a big back by eating the entire contents, even though I typically do. 🤭 For the price and the taste, I 10/10 recommend. By the way, all flavors of this brand are delish, but this toffee one is by far my fav.
I didn't feel like eating out or dirtying up a bunch of dishes. Plus my body was craving fresh veggies. So, I settled on bbq chicken and a side spinach salad. It hit the spot!
My poor sib is almost 12yo, and has arthritis in his hips. So, he lays down A LOT. I recently noticed a huge mat on the his back end from laying down that I was able to buzz out before it got tight to his skin and brush him, just this morning. However, his fur looks like he lives outside a few hours later. I brush him daily (mostly), yet he still gets matted. This is a new phenomena, so I don't know what to do to prevent matting.
Does anyone have any tips that may help his fur stay detangled? 🙏🏾
Below is what I add to his wet food (rotating additives between 3 cans a day) that used to keep his fur looking healthy:
- multivitamins
- Omega 3 fish oil
- Probiotic (he has a sensitive stomach)
- Glucosamine/chondrotin
- Hemp
Detanglers I use:
- fur comb
- Undercoat rake (not every day)
- Shedding brush
If you need lingerie, a wedding dress, bow tie, garter belt, corset, any "religious clothing", incl. choir attire, and clothing for your golf outing, it is now exempt from taxes this year in TN. However, don't look for dorm furniture, bedding or a tv for your kid going to college. 😑

I was craving stir fry, so my broke self realized I had stir fry at home. So, I made southern pineapple soy stir fry with marinated steak, frozen veggies, canned pineapple, and old rice. It didn't look the best, but it was Yummmm EEEEEE!!
