Skull donated to Chelsea Goodwill turned over to FBI, was not medical specimen

This situation is so bizarre and morbid and lowkey sitcom adjacent. Did she think they wouldn’t call the police when she donated a fucking SKULL?

Ordered a litter box off Amazon and it ended up being too small. Replaced it with a bigger one (pictured) but Peachtree is determined to make it work 🤣

Found a postcard from September 24, 2001 in a used copy of The Feminine Mystique

The text of the postcard says:
Judy - I’m a little late with this Happy Birthday to you, I’m running a bit behind as a result of the tragedy in New York and the storm that passed over. I think I’ll be picking sticks up for atleast [sic] a month. I hope you are all well in spite of national affairs.
With love
Brook

Why do drivers in Muskegon speed up when they see pedestrians crossing the road?

Pedestrians have the right of way, as we all know.

I took a 2 mile walk today through my neighborhood to enjoy the sun and the weather. As I was trying to cross Wood, on Amity, I looked both ways to make sure the coast was clear and started to cross as fast as I could. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a busted, two toned gold/white truck starts speeding toward me and honking its horn. He had to be going way over the speed limit to have appeared so quickly because I genuinely didn’t see him coming.

He got probably 3 feet away from my person and kept honking like HE had the right of way, and I was actually the asshole. If he didn’t speed up, I would have cleared it in time, but I guess he was trying to teach me a lesson?

I know pedestrians aren’t as common here, but you have no right to try to threaten or intimidate me because I’m CROSSING THE FREAKING ROAD DUDE. Your life is not more important than mine. We can share the roads safely, like neighbors are supposed to.

Also, I’m a woman who carries a gun on walks for my safety, so be careful who you decide to road rage at. I kept my cool but I was genuinely fearful of what this person might be capable of. People are insane.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk presentation

This is Grandma. She is 12. I have had her for a year and a half and she’s the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. Her former owners gave her away for free and I drove 3 and a half hours to pick her up and bring her home.

They declawed her and when they gave her away they said it’s because they couldn’t have pets where they were moving but they kept their dog LOL. Anyway, their loss is my TREASURE! She is so loved here.

Nervous to post here because I feel vulnerable LOL. People either like my handwriting or tell me it’s hard to read. What does it tell you?

I’m left handed. My notes from my DSM Mental Health Disorders (child focus) class

Good places to roller skate outside?

Hi everyone! I just bought a pair of indoor/outdoor skates and I want to know where the best spots are to skate around outside.

Basically, anywhere paved that has enough room for me to skate without running into folks will do. Skate parks, paths, regular parks, etc. Please let me know and thank you in advance! (Pic of skates for attention)

Heavy THC user for 10 years straight. Quitting for my dream job. HELP!!!!!!

I (29F) went to jail at 18 for weed in 2015. Like, three times in a year (stupid, I know). As far as I’ve been concerned since then, you can pry the THC from my cold, dead hands. When I got off probation at 19, I started smoking again. By 2018, it was legal in my state so I never really had to stop.

However, I’m becoming a social worker, going to graduate school, and I work in child welfare. I’m doing a drug test for a state position and I need to purge the THC out of my system. Like, fast. But I was doing dabs, pens, flower, edibles…. Every day. All day. All the time! I use it to socialize. I use it to study. I use it to function. I am physically and psychologically dependent upon THC. It makes me feel normal. I don’t even get high for real anymore. My baseline is FUCKED.

I’m just trying to keep myself busy and distract myself but I feel like shit. It’s 12:38pm and I stopped smoking yesterday around 11pm. This is the longest I’ve gone without smoking in a decade. I’m ashamed of myself for letting myself become so dependent on a substance. But I am trying to be strong and put mind over matter.

I am seeking tips, advice, insight, anything. I go to the gym, I have been cleaning and organizing to stay busy, I have my studies. But what motivates you to stay sober? What keeps your mind off the urge to use THC?

Thank you for reading if you got this far. I need help and community.

F/29/5’6” [280lbs > 265lbs = 15 pounds lost] (48 months) I don’t think I will ever be conventionally skinny but I am healthier and stronger than I’ve ever been.

When you’re overweight, people make assumptions that you’re sedentary and lazy. I’ve been working out for four years now. Sometimes I lose weight, sometimes I gain it, but the changes in my body composition have remained consistent.

I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I do cardio and strength training. I usually try to do a mile or 15 minutes with cardio, whichever comes first. I weight lift. I’ve been trying to focus more on my abdominals lately because I’ve never really done that.

I use creatine. I am vegetarian and I try to eat as healthy as I can but I do not calorie count and I try to weigh myself as little as possible because I had eating disorders as a teenager.

I’m okay not being skinny. I love being strong and having endurance and being able to be active without feeling tired or winded. My blood pressure is healthy after years of being in the beginning stages of hypertension. Before I started working out, I had to take my blood pressure at home. It was embarrassing. Now, I can do a mile on the elliptical in 10 minutes and I can leg press 575 pounds, and so much more.

I’m grateful for my body and my muscles and my strength. I’m just a fat bitch who loves to exercise I guess HAHA
