Hello all! My band just dropped our first single on Spotify and are trying to figure out how to get on playlists! I know they have specific editors that you can pitch your song to BEFORE it's released, but what happens after? Is there no other way?

Hello all, my band recently dropped a single and did a little bit of marketing with Google/ meta (under 200) and we were pleasantly surprised with how much engagement we recieved but after we are finished with the album we want to see which one our songs catch the widest net and do the same 10 fold, we are an indie project with our own incomes and thinking of investing 2000 dollars on solid marketing and I'm coming here to get advice on what would be the best way to use that budget? Our single didn't get out on Spotify until today because we were having distribution issues but now it's solved going forward we plan on marketing there as well.

Hello everyone, recently me and my partner had decided to pull a home equity line to put some equity back into our house, the first thing on the list was building a brand new fence in the backyard! Well our neighbor is a good friend of ours, and his father said that he does been seeing and landscaping and everything, and he said he'd get me a good deal 7k, but after getting all the equipment and stuff it wasn't necessarily the color I wanted and I figured we should stain and seal it because we want to protect our investment and we want it to last a long time, fast forward he's been saying it would be done for about a month now and he's maybe a quarter of the way done, and the sealant that he chose is good but it doesn't even look like he's stealing the edges it's just the front and the backs, and he had a worker work for him who trashed our garden and overall we have been dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism with the project. Well anywho now he wants to be paid $9,000 for the fence. And I'm just curious what everyone thinks about that price? To give you an idea for how big the fence is, he got 25 6ftx8 ft panels, but to be honest I don't think he needs all of it when we measured it was about 170 feet of fencing needed. I can add pictures later but I'm currently at work. Just wanting to know if that's a fair deal considering everything and what would be a fair deal. He totaled his costs so far and he said it's been 4300 in material and labor so far.

Hello everyone, I'm in a band in southwest United States and we are independent and trying to start looking at getting us booked with our first tour next year! We have a clear route but I'm just curious if anyone has good resources in getting touch with local scenes of the towns we plan on stopping through to get booked/ get a decent local line up?
