The Peru, Indiana subreddit hasn’t had a post in four years, so I am asking here - What is the best bakery in Peru for chocolate chip cookies?

I just got ice cream at Hortzell’s. The shop was crowded, so I walked across the street to the empty park to sit on a bench. A man at the far end of the park started yelling, “I raped your daughter” over and over.
I left the park and he continued to yell that he was responsible for all rapes in this town and then stated specifc sex acts he had done with a relative.
I got in my car and could still hear him yelling.
Two women came out of the ice cream shop, sat on a bench, and quickly got up and left due to this man yelling.
This man then started to yell that he was the first person in town to use fentanyl and that he had been using it before everyone else started using it.
Should I have asked the police to check on this man? He is clearly ill. But he didn’t approach or threaten anyone. Other than perhaps disturbing the peace, I don’t know that he broke any laws.
My “not my problem” response isn’t sitting well with me.
I am not from here. Is a certain amount of extremely unpleasant and antisocial behavior just part of living here that people should accept?

We were looking for ice cream at 9:30 last night. We drove around the courthouse square and couldn’t find anything. One place called Peach Cobbler was open, but looked like a chain and I couldn’t tell what they sold there.
We ended up at Dairy Queen, which was okay for what it was, but where can we get homemade ice cream at night in Bloomington?
Pro tip: You can avoid the line at Dairy Queen if you get out of your car and walk up to the window.
