Over it! 😠

I’ve been working at the same location for the last five years. I consider myself to be a hard worker and never find myself gossiping with others. I like to keep my life simple and personal to protect myself from negative people at work who just look for anything or anyone to complain about. It’s been three months since I’ve been reported to our union by some coworkers I’m not close to and have never held any contact with at all. They tried claiming that I don’t do anything and I’m one of the favorites at the school. I work full time and attend school full time at the moment and never focus on anything negative. Lately I’ve felt stressed out and targeted by these people and their fake allegations. Thankfully I’m being backed up by other workers, but continue to have the fear that they report me again for any little lie they make up about me. I’m a very kind and respectful person who goes out of their way to help everyone and especially them since I don’t want to go down on their miserable level. How do you guys deal with people like this apart from ignoring them? I’ll be honest and saw my self esteem has been declining since this incident and finding out about the report.

Scholarships?? Do we get them soon?

Hello everyone, it’s the first time I sign up for scholarships and was wondering when we’d receive any info on being selected or not. I have checked my school email for updates but don’t see anything yet.

Lucha libre

Where can I get lucha libre tickets for next Friday? I plan on going with a group of four and it’s our first time going. I’ve been looking at Ticketmaster, but wanted to see if we can buy them that same night or at a cheaper price.

I’m a people pleaser and don’t know how to stand up for myself

Hello everyone, I really need advice. I feel like I need to please everyone around me in order to feel included and appreciated. This goes for everyone such as family, friends, and coworkers. I always find myself giving so much and dedicating time for others, but get nothing in return. I honestly don’t expect anything from anyone, but would appreciate if people at least gave me respect or something that makes me feel wanted and not ignored like I don’t exist. I’ve a very shy and reserved person and feel like crying when I can’t share out my feelings and emotions with someone. I find myself choking up in tears without any reasons and I feel very emotional for no reason at times. I understand that no one owes me their time, but i feel so lonely even with having family with me. I’m currently dealing with my divorced aunt who wants to go on a trip this upcoming week. It was equally both our ideas but feel like I’m the only one putting effort. She can be cold and take offense easily when you approach her with certain things. I took it upon myself to plan fun activities and she has not offered to help me pay for anything. I don’t know how to bring it up without her saying that I should be the one to pay for them since I wanted to visit these places. She plans I inviting a family member to join us who lives in the place we’re going but doesn’t mention paying me to have her join us. I’m on a tight budget and she’s making me lose money with all these random plans and add ons. She’s more financially stable than I’ll ever be, but is stingy and counts every penny. She’s always looking to spend less than others and constantly asks me about how much I spend on certain things. She’s super excited to go, but I am losing my excitement to go now. I’m feeling super anxious and stressed out already and it’s the first time I go in vacation away from home. Please give me advice at least so I can keep calm and enjoy myself.

parque quetzalcoatl

Hi, has anyone visited parque quetzalcoatl this month? If so, how did you get there and how was the overall trip? I have reservations to go next week, but feel like skipping out completely to enjoy over things such as cultural areas/museums. Do you have a group within your time frame or is it whoever you take along with you? I just wanted to see what you guys thought of the overall experience.

Hiding between door frame

Hey everyone, I purchased some weather stripping as a temporary solution to stop Germans from hiding between each part of my bedroom door. I was doing a quick checkout before bed and saw one hiding between my door and the weather stripping on the inner part of my room. Took forever to get it and kill it off. Any recommendations? I sprayed poison all over the door frame early so I’m not sure if they are trying to avoid that by coming into my room to hide. I’m seriously going crazy with them and can’t open my bedroom door without one falling down at me or crawling inside or outside my door each morning

Am I supposed to panic?

Guys….. I’ve never paid anything for my classes since I transferred a year ago and now I see this. I’m currently taking two classes right now(one 5 week) and I’m taking 6 in the fall. I was told I didn’t have to pay anything for the summer according to the fafsa office. I’m currently seeing that i have a past amount due that dropped form over $1,700, and the other amount is for fall. I’m not sure if I should panic now or after my trip 💀😩

Hotel Bellas Artes

Hello everyone, just wanted to see if anyone has stayed at this hotel yet and what did you guys like about it and the area it is in. Is there any air conditioning or do they provide fans like other places? I’m just asking in advance since I tend to get hot very easily due to medication I take. I’d appreciate any help!

Hello everyone, I need some help finding more information on how to get to parque Quetzalcóatl. I have reservations for July 30 around 10am and I don’t know if it’s best to take uber or is there any transportation available? I looked into videos and we’re still confused. Does anyone else plan on visiting on the same day and wants to join us? We’re going to be staying at hotel bellas artes for reference.

Walking/trail shoes

Any recommendations on shoes that would be comfortable for long distance walks/trails? I’ve purchased many shoes and some end up leaving my heels hurting. I usually have to go up half a size or an entire size since some styles don’t come in wide. Any recommendations from asics or Salomon?

Seller hasn’t shipped as promised

I purchased a sold out coach bag I’ve been in search for over a week ago and the seller hasn’t shipped it out yet. I reached out after the third day of waiting with a follow up since it’s the first time I buy on the app. She told me she’d ship out within two days and she still hasn’t done so. I don’t want to message her again because I understand people have other things to tend to, but i also don’t want her to cancel it since it’s something I can’t find anywhere else. What do you guys recommend I do? It’s been about 7 days now.

parque quetzalcoatl tours

Does anyone have tickets for sale? I’m so sad I missed out on getting tickets for the last week of this month. Looking for two tour tickets in English or Spanish.

¿Alguien tiene entradas a la venta? Estoy muy triste por haberme perdido la oportunidad de conseguir entradas para la última semana de este mes. Busco dos entradas para la gira en inglés o español.
