Shift from VGA to DP

I have a really old computer (HP Compaq 8300 Sff) but a new monitor from Dell. My Dell monitor (S2425HS) takes only HDMI and so I bought a VGA to HDMI couple months ago to connect my old PC to the monitor since it doesn't have hdmi.

Recently I found out about display port and was wondering if I should make the change to DP to HDMI.

Is it a big difference and worth the 12$ cable? At the start I noticed alot of fuzziness but it works just fine.

Online Alim Program Recommendations

Assalamualikum,

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a strong and reputable online alim program that I can graduate from with an Ijazah and potentially a degree in islamic studies. I was looking to register now since I meet the age requirement, as I'm in my final year of high school.

I'll need to learn arabic as I'm not a native speaker and I'm not a hafiz and only have a couple juz' memorized, but I've had a strong passion to pursue an alim program from a young age.

Any advice is appreciated, and please let me know what you guys would look for when searching for an alim program (any specific material they should be covering in specific years and the duration). Most programs I know run from 4-7 years depending on part-time or full-time (I'm looking for a part-time program).
I am in North America EST but I don't mind UK programs either, as long as they're in english and fulfill what I'm looking for.

Jazakallah

My point multipliers stack?

I just realized I got 600 points off a 12$ order. I'm assuming it's from the 3x I have activated from being an SPC member and the 3x this month for all members. I'm gonna try ordering on Monday to see if I can get another 2x on-top.

I need help with a WiFi adapter dongle as it recently broke and I need a new one. Any advice appreciated!

My wifi adapter dongle just broke after many years of service (gets so hot now when I plug it in). So I need to buy a new one for my PC but the issue is I've never really replaced/bought this before in the first place; it just came with my very old PC (I run Windows 10 Pro though). And the router is too far away for Ethernet, so no point in suggesting that.

I put a temporary one that my friend gave me in for now and ran some wifi tests on google and google is saying it's very fast, but my actual computer says I'm at 1 bar. Did some looking and apparently that means I have high latency.

Went into wifi properties and heres some info:

Protocol: Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n)

Security type: WPA2-Personal

Network band: 2.4 GHz

Network channel: 11

Link speed (Receive/Transmit): 72/72 (Mbps)

Realtek 8811CU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USB NIC

Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations on what adapter to buy on amazon for like $10-20 or what my next steps are? I attached some screenshots of the adapters I was looking into, would they work out well for my PC to game and stuff?

Method to recover your PSN/Sony Account with your original birthday

I got a PS4 recently, was making/setting up an account for the first time and saw the DOB section. Sony said it was very important to keep it accurate, so curiously, I searched why since I usually use fake bdays. Apparently a bunch of people forget the fake one they set up ages ago and then ggs there goes your account when trying to recover it since they ask you it for security.

Well, I looked into it a bit and just found a new method. I'm not sure if others have already found out about it, but I didn't see any other posts, so I still wanted to share it in case people just gave up trying to recover their old accounts w fake bdays. Last time I believe there was a method as well but they were quick to get rid of it so don't waste time if this is the same.

All you need to do is go to https://www.account.sony.com/en-us/top/ , sign in, go to the Data and Privacy section, and then you will see it says "Get a copy of your Sony account data". Click the download button, and an excel csv file popped up for me, open it, and boom, your DOB along with some other account data will all be there.
