I cosplayed as Adam to meet Adam

This was from San Diego Comic Con back around 2013. Adam loves going "incognito" in costume to Comic Con, so that year he enlisted an "army" of Adam Savage clones. He gave us each a vacu-formed hat and stick-on goatee, and we all circled around him while we walked the floor, so that nobody would know who the "real" Adam was. It was a lot of fun and Adam was exactly how you'd imagine him to be.

(and yes, this was inspired by the recent bot-post)

Black Flag Re-sink

OK, just a bit of fun here. The original Black Flag was one of my favorite games ever. Had a really weird glitch happen at one point, where my ship basically plummeted from hundreds of feet in the sky and ended up...here.

Please excuse the potato quality of the video. It was 13 years ago and I was on an entry level laptop, which was about all I could afford at the time.

Jonathan “The Total Package”

Stephenie wrote this on her vote for Jonathan and for those who might not know, it’s a reference.

There’s a professional wrestler from the 80s/90s named Lex Luger, and his wrestling nickname was “The Total Package”. After his career came to an end, he developed severe physical difficulties, bordering on paralysis of his legs. He could no longer walk, and had difficulty performing even basic physical tasks (after having previously been in peak physical condition, unfortunately supplemented by steroids and other drugs).

A few years ago, Luger began doing physical therapy and rehabilitation with another former wrestler, Dallas Page, who had helped many retired wrestlers to rehab from the trauma they’ve subjected their bodies to.

Enter Jonathan Young. He worked alongside Page in helping Luger regain his ability to walk over a period of many months. No doubt he told stories about this during downtime in Survivor 50, and Steph saw fit to pass the nickname on to Jonathan, which I have no doubt he was grateful to see.

Just a nice little touch that I thought was worth pointing out.

Runner’s Gate popup event

This is from a cute little popup event in Shinjuku last month. Basically they had runners in all different colors and you would mix and match your own color combinations. The runners are all solid colors, but I did some paint splashes to give it some more color.

HG Schwarzette with custom waterslides

Was disappointed that the HG Schwarzette didn't really come with any decals other than the color shift ones. Found a 3rd party waterslide set that is absolutely outstanding. Only used about 2/3rds of the set, but I think they look great.
