District of Colombia 🇨🇴 the walls closed in big summer ant

Bro is like mid 30s and JUST learned DC not only stands for District of Columbia (different from Colombia the country as he also informed us), but also that Columbia is derived from one Christopher Columbus

My boyfriend wants me to wear a hijab even though I am atheist

I did also post this on another sub and it got removed for some reason before I could answer of the comments. I wanted to add more context on this situation. My boyfriend is still not that religious, that's what makes his request pretty odd. We have had sex, do things that are against his religion, so it's obviously not because of his religion.

I am not sure what triggered my boyfriend's(22m) sudden fascination with me(20f) wearing a hijab, but for the last month he has continually bringing it up. At first it was jokes, and then he kept saying that I would look more beautiful in it, which I said defeats the purpose, because was he wanting me to wear it to look less desirable. He wasn't even that religious when we first met (he grew up Muslim but I thought it was more so cultural for him than religious). We have been dating for over a year now, and live in different cities, so I feel like it stems from his insecurity because I get catcalled and asked out a lot, and tell him when this happens. I wanted to add here, this makes him really nervous. A few weeks ago I had an incident on the train from visiting him, where this man would not leave me alone and I had to contact the British Transport Police. It was this whole thing, so maybe that stressful/traumatic thing made him think like this. He rushed down to my city and was really distraught. He kept repeating he wasn't a good boyfriend because he couldn't protect me.

This whole thing pisses me off because I already feel like I have sacrificed a lot since I dress modestly compared to a lot of other girls my age, even when it's hot, because he wants me to. But he continually pushes my boundaries, when I say no. My parents would be really mad if I wore this in front of them, since they're religious Christians. I am so mad right now, and I am not sure how to convey that to him.

I am calling him tonight to talk to him, and I am not sure what exactly I should articulate to him.

Also please don't have this turn into something Islamophobic, I just want advice to navigate this relationship.

Has anyone showed Wubby the Solid Snake method of conversation yet? He could use this at the gym when he’s feeling socially anxious
