Sweet old man.

Sweet old man.

We rescued him from the San Antonio kill shelter with Heartworms 10 years ago. He was scheduled to be put down that same day. He's only supposed to be with us for two weeks and here it is years later.

Alpha classes

I’m pretty disappointed with the programming in Alpha Strength, especially during the endurance phase.
At the end of the day, this is supposed to be a strength class, regardless of the phase. Lately, it feels like we’re spending almost as much time doing cardio-style MetCons as we are lifting. Add in the high-rep work with very little recovery, and the entire workout starts to feel more like a conditioning class than a true strength session.
Does anyone else who’s been doing the class regularly feel the same way?
Also, why do we never bench press? I end up staying after UltraFIT on Wednesdays just to get bench work in because it’s missing from the program.
Personally, I’d rather see the class focus entirely on strength training with no MetCon at all. If conditioning absolutely has to be included, I’d keep it to about 10 minutes max—not 20 or more.

I’m genuinely curious what everyone else thinks.

Royal canine for boxers.

Do any of you guys use this food for your boxers? It's obviously very expensive but looking over the ingredients, especially the first few. It does not look like a very good quality food to me. No idea why it's so expensive or why gets such great reviews. Let me know.
We were also advised to not use grain free foods as it could create heart issues in boxers.
