We're about to hire our first international employee and I have no idea what I'm doing compliance wise

Growing fast and we've identified talent in two different countries we want to bring on as full-time hires.

The problem is we have zero presence outside the Philippines and no experience navigating foreign labor laws.

Been reading about employer of record services as a way to handle this without registering a local entity but I'm not sure if it's overkill for just one or two hires.

Anyone been through this? What did you actually do and would you do it the same way again?

What’s your favorite way to explore london alone?

I've been using RV and the gameplan was London to Bath & Stonehenge for a week.

I’ve realized i actually enjoy london way more when i stop trying to optimize every part of the trip

Usually i just walk around for hours and end up finding random bookstores, side streets, tiny cafes, weird little parks, etc

Recently i started looking for best tours for solo travelers in London, but most of them still feel too structured for what i like

Honestly more interested in premium guided tour substitutes or smaller/local experiences instead

Also curious if anyone has found good best free travel planning resources for discovering less obvious places around the city

Feels like there’s room for more upcoming personalized tour services that are less tour guide with umbrella and more tailored to how people actually explore now

I’ve been looking into employer of record UK providers to help us hire internationally, specifically in India.

The value makes sense they handle contracts, taxes, and international payroll, so you don’t need to open a local entity.

But the pricing feels pretty steep for a small team.

For those who’ve used an EOR, did it actually save you time and headaches, or did you end up switching to a different setup later?

Trying to figure out if it’s worth it early on.
