Make a move goblin#5 I don’t have all day…

I don’t have proof but I swear the enemy get stuck thinking about their move as revenge for every time we do that to them

The injured mindflayer at the nautiloid wreck

Useless thralls crashing a perfectly good nautiloid

Cambion on the nautiloid when you cast command drop weapon

From his perspective three randoms come running past him in 12 seconds or less nabbing his sword in the middle of his epic showdown and then proceed to crash the entire ship

Which spell do you CRAVE using every playthrough?

I am cannot not use Spike growth, you get it at level 3 on several classes and it is so much value for one level two spell, all you need is a chokepoint.

Then you can add so much more to it to enhance like more slowing effect like hungers of hadar so they can’t get out. Or just push them back into it.

Only flaw is against enemies that only use ranged or has misty step, but there are not that many encounters like that.

So which is your go to spell?

I broke my oath, when should I regain it for best narrative?

I broke my oath by joining Gortash because my Tav is worn down by all the fighting and genuinely fears the Netherbrain. He realizes sacrifices must be made and takes Gortash’s deal hoping it will save more people, willingly forsaking his oath in the process.

The plan was to become an Oathbreaker, rush Orin, and sacrifice Gale.

But after siding with Gortash, I feel it would be more epic to rekindle the hope in my Tav’s heart, have him retake his oath, save the people in the Iron Throne, defeat Gortash, and fight the brain fair and square without sacrifice.

So the question is: when should he retake the oath?

After defeating Orin?

After the Iron Throne?

After defeating Gortash?

At the final long rest?

I’m looking for the best narrative moment to retake the oath and I’m open to suggestions.

Which mischievous magical prank did you pull to make Skelly say this?

I once enchanted a staircase to randomly raise and lower a step just a little bit so people always stumble.

Meanwhile, least used companions at camp

For me it has been Halsin (rather have Jaheira) and Astarion (we don’t vibe) , used to be Gale and Wyll as well but now I bring them on my Paladin honor run for rp and strategic reasons.

Gods damned Meazels, every run before I had no problems with them because I sneaked in and managed to see them first to surprise them, so I just kinda strolled in thinking I would do the same but from the lower road then BAM surprised! Every character got garroted and I could not use a single control spell or misty step away.

My two melee characters were separated and could not focus down at least one of them so damage got spread out and the one strength character managed to fail the push twice first rounds and then it was just over.

I am not even mad it was fucking impressive how they just absolutely manhandled me by teleporting in and just strangling me to death like a bunch of fish on land.

I am taking a break before I figure my next run but wow I will definitely think about avoiding them but I also kinda want revenge so might plan my whole party to deal specifically with them.

Well you gotta laugh at yourself sometimes.

Please share your own act two defeats if you want I could use some sympathy.
