So this just hit me with regards to another person having to learn two languages in the same sub.

Honestly, for others and most of y'all living abroad, it's pretty easy to learn other foreign languages like French or Spanish, because well, they have alphabets in them, and it gets easy to enunciate and pronounce the words.

Until you study in India.

I wanted to take up Hindi and French as my languages, and was offered that during my college's admission time, to which they stated I'd be able to take French during my second year.

It was just hindi in first year, and then came the second year, where I was eagerly waiting to learn french after a long gap of four years learning it back when I was in 10th grade.

Imagine my damned horror when I was told to go to Tamil class instead of French, BECAUSE APPARENTLY THERE WERE NO FRENCH STAFF?!

AND ON TOP OF THAT, I'M LEARNING A DAMN NEW LANGUAGE WHICH I'VE NO EXPERIENCE ON, NOR CAN I SPEAK IT OR NOR DO I HAVE PARENTS OR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO SPEAK THE DAMN LANGUAGE. [THE WORDS EVEN SOUND A LOT DIFFERENT AND IS HARD TO INTERPRET]

yeah it's safe to say that I've failed my first ever Tamil exam, and is prolly the first exam I've failed in my life too. I didn't even bother telling it to my collegues cuz I got no friends really, so just said it to my Discord friends rather, and well bam.

Tamil sucks, and I hate my damned college for forcing me to learn it.

So just wanted to know how many of y'all got Driving Licenses as a person who uses hearing aids atleast?

Like dude, the Indian Government gave me a LLR [Learner's License] without any issues, but when I gave the test for the permanent one where I had literally passed the driving tests for the car and the scooty, the person incharge of approving driving license, saw my hearing aids and denied my chance of getting the license.

A bit dissapointing only, I'll try at another RTO, however and let's see how it goes.

I'm based in chennai, and CeX or gamenation or gameloot doesn't even have them in the area where I stay, help please!

I'll just say it, I'm a short GK, yet I'm the lead GK for my college's football team.
[Only 2 GK's came [Incl. me] for auditions, and the other guy is in first year.]

This is the 2nd time I'll be playing for the CM trophy [India, Chennai.], where last year I fumbled during the second match where I had mispassed it to the opponent rather than passing to my own teammate.

I am also not feeling confident with the quality of my team playing as a whole, mainly due to ofcourse, language barriers as well.

But nonetheless, I've deicided to keep it aside, somehow motivate the team, inspite of the lack of practise the college PT sir/College has been giving us, and I'll somehow try my level best to reach, dive and save shots, and hope for a clean sheet.

I really miss my school's FC team.

So I met this stranded guy apparently at Koyambedu metro, he says it's been 24 hours since he lost his iphone 12 and 5000rs cash on the basis of coming for a solo trip to chennai all the way from Delhi.

After conversing with him for 2 3 minutes, I decided to record because ik I was gonna be broke to help him out

I even convinced him that I'd be able to part away with 20rs for him to catch a 880 rs train to Delhi

Should I have helped him out or was it good I left?

So in the FCB vs BVB match finals, I recall Neuer making a 1v1 save in his own box.

Neuer tried to kick the ball, but the opposing player got the ball and was about to kick it to the goal before Neuer managed to dive and grab the ball just approx 5m away from the Goalpost

Hi so I've had this skin infection fo like nearly 2 years now and it has reduced sure, but it's a bit weird seeing the black part of the skin popping out of the neck than the ordinary.

Is there any other cream or something else I can use to make my skin come back to normal?

I live in India, and would love to get a cheap cream or something so my mum doesn't notice I'm spending an irregularity with my pocket money.

So I'm a planespotter, and recording in the afternoon time is very hard as even with my +3 monitor brightness, I'm unable to see the screen as I record the aircraft flying over me.

What can I do to fix it? (Apart from spotting in the night)

On the day when it rained the whole day; I recall being at the Daycare till 10PM waiting for my mum who was working at teynampet at that time, to come all the way to mogappair.

The daycare was divided into two floors, ground floor was the actual daycare, and the first floor was the Owner's house.
Thankfully I knew the owner's two sons who were brothers and we had a blast passing the time by playing monopoly and other games inspite of the frequent power cuts and the rooms being lit via candles.

Of course, by 5PM, everyone's parents had picked up their kids, everyone except mine but I didn't really care since I had good company.

Unfortunately, I realised that my bedtime was approaching and I was actually worried if my mum was even going to be coming to pick me up, or if she forgot that I was there or something 😭 she came to the daycare around 10PM, [By God's grace yay!] and it took a long while to get an auto, and on the way back home, we had gone through the flood trodden roads of mogappair, where a speedy Wagon R sprayed water onto the Auto, spraying me, my mum, and the auto driver with mud lol

that area was where we got sprayed lol.

We got stuck in a pothole however, but thankfully the auto bhaiya took us out of the mess, and we finally reached home 20 mins later.

I obviously felt so bad for the Auto Driver as he had to go back to him home in the pouring rains at the heavy dark night; thankfully my mum respected his efforts and tipped him generously as I recall.

I was in third grade when it happened, and it was the first time I've been through a Natural Disaster in my life, and ofcourse, t'was the first time I heard the IAF Cheetah choppers from close as a kid that probably spared my dream even more to join the IAF :D

Nonetheless it was pretty boring that time since I had nothing to do much, and was just talking to my mum and remember having biscuits and chai for the first time probably.

I'm aware about CeX and Gamenation, but they don't exactly have the CDs that I'm looking for.

Is there any Xbox CD stores that sells CDs and ships it to chennai with websites, or are around chennai?

Hello lads!

So I went cycling after so damn long since I stayed up late watching FRA win against SWE and couldn't sleep so decided to go cycling atleast.

Man what a ride it was! Going downhill through bridges and then having to exhaust climb up the bridges haha.

And man, Chennai does look beautiful when you combine it with the sunrise.

Anyways, I do hope I'll be able to build up this habit eventually.

Only cons of the ride was that I saw a roadkill dog on the side. 🥀✌🏼

Nonetheless the ride was cool and I had fun nonetheless!

I did the ride around the Thiruverkadu-Madurovoyal side btw
