They released the issue #4 covers today, this is cover A by Arthur Adams

Not sure how many people saw this, but the editor put this little box at the end of the 1st issue. And he hints that this series in is it for the long run!

I'm curious now that we've had a day to read the 1st issue, what are your overall thoughts on this issue?

For me I loved it. Some context is that I have only read issue #1, I haven't seen or read anything from the advanced issues 2, 7, or 10.

But as for #1, oh boy. What a book, what a way to start this off. I was fully expecting for Marilyn to get her powers at the end of the book. I was already thinking of the possibly that there could be a schism between Marilyn and Crusher and Marilyn would eventually join the other side and fight her sister at some point. NOPE, nah she just dies, totally did not expect that. I loved it, I hope that there is a sense of permanence in this book where people who die stay dead, cause I feel there may be a way we see Marilyn again but I'd rather not tbh. I also kinda like the homage to the Invincible show(not sure if it really was), but at the very end when Minotaur says the title of the book I just pictured all the Invincible title card cut's in the show, idk a small thing that may be unrelated but I thought it was cool.

And the art... I mean it speaks for itself it's so good. I love this style of art, it's nice to see Andy Kubert do interiors again. I think the last thing I remember him doing interior for was New 52 Flashpoint and as I recall the art was the only good thing about that

Custom Andy Kubert sketch cover, very very rare. I have heard that Andy only did 54 of these covers. Not sure what to think of this rumor since 54x2500 is 135,000 which is way lower than the other calculation using the 1:1000's. we may never know the real print run

Update: I also heard that there isn't much variation to these covers, Andy sort of did this same sketch on all the 1:2500s

this sold on whatnot last night for $206. I'm not sure what to think of this price, cause it's like a $5 dollar book with a +-40 sig, BUT its a 10 so idk

I was watching Liefeld’s whatnot stream and he said that this cover(blind bag exclusive) is the “rarest cover in the blind bags”. And he found some listed on eBay and bought the cheapest one for $225. He said “yup look at that 41 yrs in the business and I still got it” and proceeded to buy his own book. Such an interesting guy. Also the 1st screenshot is him showing the picture from the eBay listing and the 2nd is supposed to be his eBay confirmation alert but I know it’s super blurry, sry.

So yes issue 10 is in the blind bags, here is a more clear picture of one. But also issue 7?! like what could possibly be the strategy here? how can you tell a linear story when you release issues 1, 2, 7, and 10 on the same day? I am very excited to read this book.

So as predicted there is an advanced issue 2, but to my complete surprise there is this insane arthur adams issue 10. i won the issue 10 cover, its the one I have been wanting for a while buts it's been a mystery as to what it was now we know. very excited.

also, the guy said off stream is that he opened 15 off stream and got 11 different covers, half of the 11 he said were unlisted. so theres some crazy stuff in these blind bags.

So i was looking on Ebay and saw that someone already has a CGC 9.8 1:1000 variant on hand. And if you use the CGC code at the top you can find the population count for this book, and if you add all the population up its 415. So correct me if I'm wrong, but if there are 415 1:1000 variants doesn't that mean there is at least 415,000 copies of Terminal 1?

Like I may be wrong but that is really insane to me. This is going to be one of the biggest books of the year.

as a full side note this makes what AB #20 did seem super insane. issue 20 did as good as a highly anticipated issue 1

I've used it maybe 3 times. It has been sitting like this in garage for maybe 6 years. thought I'd put it on FB marketplace or something, but have no idea what it'd be worth today
