Leberkas-Wurstsalat vom Wolf

I am unsure how to get this chest. Fighting the Strix on foot is impossible as they instantly kill my party and have too much health, so I have to fight them in Sky Armors. However the bridge leading up to this island is way to narrow for the armors to fly to. I have a feeling that this chest contains some sort of key I am still missing for the Deadlands. Thanks in advance.
So what do you expect for the RE Code Veronica remake? I hope this time around no enemy or boss will be cut.
Some of the boss fights could be exectued better, like the Adult Albino or the Giant Spider. Oh and I want a real boss fight against a mutated Steve Burnside, not just a short escape sequence.
I want the game to keep its original charme but with obviously better and more modernized writing. Still it should keep a bit of its priginal corniness if that makes sense.
What are your expectations regarding the Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake?
Hey there,
Sorry for the wall of text.
I am from Augsburg, Germany. I work for the city of Augsburg (aka in the adminstration). Dayton, Ohio is the US sister city of Augsburg. Also there's a special program for people working in the City of Augsburg called Up2Europe that allows us to travel to another country of your choosing (not just limited to Europe despite its name) for about a month and not only work there, but also see the city and more broadly speaking get to know life in said country.
Since I've always been a huge fan of the USA and also like English as a language I decided to join the program and travel to the US. Since Dayton is Augsburg's sister city I might get the opportunity to travel there next year. Mind you, it's not official yet, as the responsible persons from Augsburg have to get into contact with people from Dayton and ask if it's okay for me to spend next year in Dayton for a month and help out with work. Said responsible responsible parties informed me about the so-called German picknick which is held as an annual event in Dayton, each year under a different motto. Next year it's going to be Augsburg, so travelling to Dayton as a so-to-speak representative of Augsburg presents itself as an opportunity for me.
Does anyone of you guys live in Dayton and tell me a bit about it. I've read a bit about the city but never talked to someone who lives there or at least regularly visits Dayton. How are people over there? I assume given the annual German festival it's rather welcoming and I might have a great time? Are there great places to eat? Which restaurant can you suggest?
I’d love to try some authentic Dayton specialties—ideally something meat-heavy, since I really enjoy meat and can’t get enough of it.
Are there any great movie theaters, clubs, or other leisure spots where I can enjoy sports, good food, or culture?
I’ll have an estimated $3,500 at my disposal, so that needs to cover the full four weeks. Are there any good-quality, reasonably priced hotels or guesthouses? Of course, I’ll bring some extra personal funds just to be on the safe side.
Beyond just being friendly to a visitor from Germany, I’m curious if people there are open to making new acquaintances. Ideally, it would be great to meet a few people I could stay in touch with after returning to Germany. Unfortunately, I’m not the type of person who just strikes up a conversation with a total stranger on the street, in a bar, or on public transport—I don’t know if that’s a typically German trait, but I usually need a specific reason or context to really get to know someone. Are there any spots or events in Dayton where it’s easy to meet people?
Sorry for all the questions; I really hope this trip works out next year. It would be a completely new experience for me; admittedly, I’ve always been a bit of a homebody, but that means missing out on seeing the world. I hope a project like Up2Europe and my first trip to the USA will inspire me to take on more adventures like this in the future. Thanks in advance for any information you can share. I hope my English wasn’t too bad.
Hey,
even though I couldn't write down "Spoilers" in the headline for this thread due to the length it should be obvious that this contains spoilers though it's just - as the title implies - a comparison of offically released material, i.e. the trophy list that has been revealed and various trailers we got since the game's announcement. I want to explore which of the main bosses for the game have been shown in trailers so far. For reference I will use the following two trailers:
For reference:
Mortal Shell 2 - Official Release Date Trailer - YouTube
Mortal Shell II - Official Announcement Trailer - YouTube
Before I go into spoiler territory I just wanna say that it looks like Mortal Shell 2 will have a lot more variety in regards to main bosses. It's not just all dudes in armor but a lot more visually unique bosses you'll face in this game.
Last chance to walk away.
Okay:
1. Magdalena - from the demo/ beta. Lady in "wheelchair".
2. The Lost Child - 0:57 in the Release trailer; 1:39 in the Announcement trailer. Really gross, monstrous boss.
3. The Nameless Captive - 1:40 and 1:46 in the Announcemt trailer. Big knight/ zombie with sword stuck in his head.
4. Sir Isaac - Not completely sure on that one, but my guess would be it's the insect knight from 1:10 and 1:31 in the Release trailer.
5. Hexapod - I think it's the thing seen at around the 1:42 mark in the Announcement trailer and 1:43 in the Rlease Date trailer. Weird looking insect creature. Looks sick though.
6. The Monolith - 0:55 in the Release Date trailer, it can also be seen shooting orange lasers at around 1:11 in the same trailer. This looks also super sick, reminds me of a Silent Hill monstrosity.
7. Droeg, the Conqueror - 0:59 in the Release Date trailer.
8. Malborn Offspring - I don't think we have seen that one yet.
9. Orrem, the Reclaimed - I am really unsure about this one. I think we haven't seen that one yet either as according to the picture it looks almost like a centipede creature but it COULD also be the dude from 01:05 in the Release Date trailer. What do you think the image actually shows, what do you think this boss is supposed to be? Something rather humanoid or a beast, rather abstract monster?
10. Zmey, the Unbidden - we definitely haven't seen this one yet.
Please correct me if I am wrong with one of those or if you found something resembling boss 8 - 10 in any of the footage.
I heard a lot of good things about this game. It’s also apparently very hard for the bosses.
However how’s the platforming? Does the game have platforming, e.g. spikes, pits, traps etc.? And if there are platforming sections how hard are they? I don’t think it would be Celeste or IWBTG difficulty? Not even White Palace from Hollow Knight difficult?
As the title says I hope that each main dungeon in the game will be unique in terms of aesthetics. One thing I am a bit worried about is that each of the big dungeons will have the same overall aestetic, i.e. the same walls and ground textures as Remis Rock.
I hope that each main dungeon in each area of the game will have its own visual identity. Maybe in one area it will look like an old ancient ruin with kind of Aztec vibes, in another region it has gothic castle vibes and in yet another region it has some sci fi aesthetics.
I was just a little worried about this since the EA has some optional side dungeons that look exactly like Remis Rock, but in the end it's the same overall area/ biome, so that's fine. I just hope that the upcoming Swamp Dungeon will have a completely different/ unique look (and if the swamp area has optional smaller dungeons again, these would have the same visuals as the main dungeon).
As the title says I predict a 2nd DLC for Blasphemous 2. Not only did Blapshemous 1 have three DLCs but there is a potential ingame hint. So in the 1st DLC we got Mea Culpa which replaced Ruego Del Alba as a weapon, now worth the Third Sin DLC we got a whip as a replacement for Veredicto. We didn’t get a weapon replacing the two lightning swords though so I think that might happen in a third DLC.
I expect yet more new areas for that third DLC with a new boss and similiar to the final DLC of the first game a new form of the final boss/ a true final boss which might be a lot more epic and way more challenging than Incarnated Devoution. Maybe we also get a hint for a possible third game.
I am talking about the first Lionel boss fight. Whenever he is about to attack with one of those long attack strings Lionel has these green and red colored sparks flashing aorund him in a certain frequency before he attacks. The amount of sparks and the color indicate which attack he will use and how often he'll do a certain attack. This makes it really good to react to his attacks as you theoretically shouldn't be surprised by a sudden attack in his attack combo. It's a really cool mechanic imo. It's also something I only realized during my second run through this game.
Sadly I couldn't upload a clip of him doing that.
Hey,
so I had an idea how to make Morpha way more interesting than she currently is. Some people are a bit disappointed by it being a small creature. But it has one distinctive attribute that would make Morpha an interesting boss if they'd be willing to make a few changes to the fight.
Morpha can control the water. In the old fight in OoT Morpha can build tentacles made of water. What if that's hw the fight starts in OoT but this time around Morpha actually builds a large water creature protecting herself? Something similiar to Augur from Elden Ring Nightreign or the Elden Beast? Or a flying Manta Ray looking creature made of water?
You can see some inspirations I took from different games/ movies to get an idea of what I mean. I think it would make the boss way more menacing looking and way more believable as a threat to the Zora Kingdom. If any Temple boss in OoT would benefit from an overhaul it would be Morpha in my opinion.
As the title says, I hope the devs won't change the actual design of the Temples. I want to have the same temples in terms of rooms as in the original.
If anything I'd change some accessibility (though that has been done in the 2011 version already) like equipping the Iron Boots for the Water Temple etc.
Another change that would be highly appreciated are some of the bosses getting new phases like it has been done with the fish and worm bosses in Majora's Mask (looking at you Morpha).
And finally getting an actual Light Temple would be extremely cool. A completely new dungeon with a new boss would be great to see and very exciting. It could be the final dungeon you could go after so you would get the Light Medallion last. I wouldn't mind a Wind Temple either but at least the Light Temple would be super cool.
But as I said the old temples should keep their classic design.
I really wonder wha they will be. I think a major boss is indicated by giving you a Memento upon defeat, similiar to Elden Ring’s Remembrences which were an indication of major boss fights. I think these major bosses each guard a big egg of the Undermether (who I can see as the final boss).
I think so far I am sure about 3 biomes: the Swamp from the Beta, the big fortress which can be seen in the background and has all these red trees and a snow biome. These three have been shown in trailers. I wonder what the other will be and how many major bosses with their dedicated biome there will be in the game before the endgame. I hope they haven’t shown 3-4 biomes in trailers yet.
I think I am missing ONE upgrade for the Fully Equipped achievement. Could you tell me which one it is and where/ how to get it please? That would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I think instead of fighting Palmer in person without any machine in Rocket Town we will fight him in space instead. I am not sure if this time there will be some sort of Shinra space station but either way I predict we will fight Palmer and this time he has a space ship/ UFO shaped machine.
Maybe after we land back in Rocket Town he will confront us in a cut scene and gets comically run over by a truck or something.
Hallo.
Viel Erfolg.
I gotta give props to Blizzard for making a fantastic boss fight against Mephisto. First of all I love the design of Mephisto. He is clearly inspired (and should so) by his Diablo 2 appearance aka he has still the frail, nearly skeletal body frame, four arms, no legs. But at the same time he looks way more demonic than in Diablo 2, not "just" like a floating skeleton with horns.
The cinematic approach to the boss battle is just as amazing. I love the people panicking at the start as Mephisto reveals himself and wrecks havoc. Then the second phase where he is huge in size (thus also showing his model in great detail), the faces of past friends and foes rising from the pool or the giant phase of Mephisto as he tries to bit you from below. It's FANTASTIC!
And finally the gameplay aspect. It's a boss fight consisting of two forms with a wide array of different attacks and certain intermediary phases. It is by far the best boss fight in Diablo so far.
So here's what I hope: I hoe we get many more expansions, at least with a returning Baal and a returning Diablo (though I wouldn't mind another expansion focusing on Imperius after dealing with the Prime Evils). And I hope that both Baal and Diablo get the same focus as Mephisto did in terms of cutscenes, interactions and overall presence.
And I hope that the eventual boss fights against the other two Prime Evils will be just as epic and as multi facetted as Mephisto's fight. While you can certainly criticize Diablo Immortal one thing that is pretty epic is the boss fight against Diablo who has many different phases. I hope something similiar happens with him (and Baal).
So one thing that I do not like very much about many fans and people in regards to Diablo 4 is their criticism regarding the lack of Diablo in Diablo 4 (so far).
I know that the game series is called Diablo, named after one of the three Prime Evils. Yet, the Diablo universe is way bigger than just Diablo. There are two other Prime Evils. And there are other potential threads, other creatures and forces that could be a good main villain of a Diablo game. It doesn't always have to be Diablo. I think Lilith herself was a pretty great villain especially since she was a morally grey character who - while definitely doing some nasty stuff - had a good side to her as well.
Imperius might be another candidate for main villain - either in a future expansion or in a possible Diablo 5.
Yet I see many people being absolutely furious that Diablo 4 didn't feature Diablo yet. It's something that gets repeated again and again (and might continue until Blizzard finally decides to have an expansion with Diablo).
Sometimes facing another thread in the wider ingame universe can be a good thing.
