Found out one of my sports game grails is still available for purchase new on Amazon. I’m still trying to go all pro in dog football and there hasn’t been another game like it to scratch my competitive itch.. bark bark woof woof and all that.

I just find it so hilariously odd and charming, that a game Wii game is still available for purchase new in 2026. But the story behind this quirky game is kinda interesting. Turns out the developers themselves still have an EBay store open selling signed copies and even games by the case if you wanna drop ship and sell some dog football of your own… wild times but even kinda respectable if you are still hustling on a Wii game made in 2011.

Over the weekend, my GF and I finally sat down together and I finally powered out the last remaining 5% of my perfection run… I have finally reached the summit!!

I genuinely really couldn’t have done it with out her support in the background, while I was out basically dating the whole town, she just farmed and made money enough for us to get that silly 10m G clock. She’s the backbone of this run I truly never thought I’d achieve until I started achievement hunting and realized this was my one shot. On PS5 I am now one of less then 1% of the folks who play this game to get to this point and this is by far the rarest achievement I’ve unlocked on the platform. (Only a silver trophy?!? 😭)

A few thoughts and pieces of advice I learned along the way for those who also may wanna try to go for perfection and how I felt is best to accomplish it.

-Go for perfection last! Farm, have fun, make as much money as possible. Don’t bother with trying to accomplish this as you go because it does take some focus away from the fun RPG elements to just check boxes off a list, get to a good point where you have experienced the game and then just prioritize what remains.

-Save a little bit of EVERYTHING you produce, find and catch.. especially after the community center is finished! Don’t sell stock piles for cash, you will need it all for crafting and meals still and it makes it hell of a lot easier to just go through boxes and find what you need instead of waiting for seasons to return to wait and search.

-take every recipe from everyone and every festival. Even if it feels like you won’t make it take the recipe so you can complete your crafting list. The Wiki is your hero to go down the list and reference if you at least have everything there is to craft.

-I saved befriending the town for last.. probably not recommended! (Krobus was my house mate.. no marriage lol) But a pretty interesting way to finish the game. It turned the last part of my game into a town scavenger of Loved items trying to find everyone twice a week, and getting completely random cutscenes out of context that were fun treats along the way.

-You don’t have to date everyone to get perfection just get them to 8 stars. And focusing on your mastery to get the Totem of blessing to get extra heart days really helped speed that process along.

There is probably more little things I could discuss more but that’s just what comes to mind in the moment that could share now. I didn’t want to share any extra spoilers of my experience outside of the summit itself for those who are still trying to teach it to enjoy but there are a lot of fun little things I’m excited to have now in my perfect farm!

Broke out my little wolves gear collection to try to pull from every generation of the T wolves to pull off an upset tonight.

- I got a KG jersey (2014 - 2016 years) and a game worn KG sweatband from the 90s given to me as a gift to my father who was a writer for the Timberwolves when I was growing up back then.

- My modern Ant Trees jersey because of course 🫡

- A Derrick Rose Prince jersey from the Timberbulls years. (I live in Chicago so this was a surreal thing for both me and my friends)

-Finally a vintage 90s plush Crunch I’ve had since I was a kid as well because evening loves Crunch!!

Let’s go wolves and let’s see if we can pull off the win!! Awooooooooooooooo 🐺

I think my favorite part of this game is that it allowed you to let every weird intrusive thought I’d ever have win.

I finally managed to make my favorite Hatsune Miku / Hank Hill Meme a reality!! They loved each other from the start and finally came together with tiny Leon S. Kennedy as their son… Hank says “Dang it, I am Kawaii” and truly followed his heart.

None of this Artwork I found is mine that I created I just adore these people’s deranged sensibilities as mine.

Hello fellow physical media collectors, I am in need of of additional advice on how to proceed on getting a rare game to work:

I picked up this copy of Futurama for Xbox for a decent price, with average wear and tear scratches, it didn’t load I’ve had success with resurfacing all kinds of different discs at disc replays so I got it done yesterday looked clean and fresh but taking it home to test it still didn’t load… (even resurfaced 2 other games that loaded fine yesterday!)

I am desperately trying to see if there is anything I can do, or if there is anything I can see that could be wrong that others might notice to see If this disc is fucked or fraudulent or something I’m missing but it looks fine to me.

My Xbox loads games perfectly fine normally, I even tried it on a 360 and it could recognize that it is Futurama but wouldn’t play due to a missing update or something.

Please any help would be so incredibly appreciated… any community to talk to.. I am getting it resurfaced a second time later today in a last ditch effort… but returning it to the store for store credit would be devastating…

Please help!!! Thank you in advance!!

I know this has been posted in here before… but I finally caught the sale of the Wii Sports vinyl that has the Nintendo Seal of approval all over it but it definitely smells unofficial!

Sounds great and was a dream for my collection ever since I found out the meme was real. Probably spent too much shipping it from Australia but it gets my collection closer to perfection.. 🤣

Enough said, he is more enigma than man now he’s on my island. Hes tearing me apart Lisa.
