Fury as 83 asylum seekers being moved into £250k newbuild homes on village estate ‘meant for social housing’
As we like gardens that support nature, my mum’s is like a wildlife holiday resort!
Countless birds, bees, hedgehogs, foxes. Providing a space for nature doesn’t have to look unloved.
Pretty Zinnias! Even though they got battered by recent storms.
A moment of peace for an exhausted parent.
This young crow has been stomping around my garden for weeks now, following its parents and screaming incessantly at them for food. This was a welcome break for everyone!
The lottery emails now tell you that you’ve won a SMALL prize. No more dashed hopes of a jackpot!

How well does your NHS app integrate with your hospital/doctor records?
Mine has some of my doctors records, only after requesting that they were linked to my NHS app. It doesn’t show any of my previous vaccinations though. I have none of my hospital records on there.
Do you have everything linked, and was it automatic?
Miles of lovely new tarmac on the dual carriageway. It holds water worse than before.
reddit.comI had no idea these things existed.
I assumed it was some sort of tick, but after some reading found its nickname at least is a lawn hopper/shrimp. I’m slightly disappointed it’s not a lawn prawn!
Dug this out of our hedge. It smelt like someone had stored creosote in it. Turns out medicinal creosote was a thing!

Phosphoric acid
Chloroform water
Cochineal (a natural red dye)
Infusion of gentian (a bitter herb)
A small amount of alcohol

thesun.co.ukHas anyone else found the reporting of the latest protests a bit strange?
Now this isn’t about picking a side, and it’s not about the nature of the protests themselves. Usually the news would be full of videos and pictures, plus details of who had been arrested from each side though.
The reporting this time feels strangely muted, with the number of arrests reported but very few details. Even the Daily Mail had very little to offer, and they’re usually the first to report the details - whether they’re accurate or not.
My question being, do you think this is a government instruction to attempt to subdue it all? It seems a coincidence after Starmer’s speech condemning the Unite the Kingdom side. When the Daily Mail put 5 articles about Venezuela Fury’s wedding above something like this, it makes you feel like something’s up!
