Thinking of Tourism. Want to know local recommendations.

Greetings. I'm coming from İstanbul Turkey, thinking of visiting by late-september for 9 days (2x weekends and 1x weekdays connected).

I'm thinking of a reliable start in Yerevan. Capital cities are on the more developed side of countries everywhere. I'm content with switching from day to day between small hotels and carrying my stuff around. Can either stat in the same one for all 8 nights or switch every 2-3 days.

Which historical places would you consider important for tourists to see and listen to? Could be museums, art galleries, or even open field parks or even a singular statue on the streets. I'm down for anything.

what kind of clothes should I bring? Since east anatolia has colder averages than the western anatolia I live in. But also it'll be still freshly out of summer so the weather should be warmer. T-shirt or tank top? Pants or shorts?

Also I'd like to see places to shop in as much as historic sights. Any shopping malls that has wide variety of content?

where to buy merch(and cosplay) in japan?

I'm going to japan by the end of september and I'm fond of LoR and Limbus Company. even cosplayed Hong Lu's capstone ID.

portable merch suffices, but I optionally also want a cosplay. where can I buy merch and where can I buy a cosplay?

can this still be used effectively?

I had a guan dao with a 60-140cm ratio. the stick was two different pieces sticked together with wood glue + thin metal pieces between. but eventually it broke down with too much force during a clash. now it's height is lesser than myself, 60-100cm.

I still love my qeapon though and still want to perform duels with it. I know it won't break any longer due because the rest are tied like one singular piece. so does it give any advantages? what should I change about my stance in order to fight effectively again?

Drake the type of Potty pooper to say "yeah?" like he's being asked a question when the bathroom stall door is knocked

my weird (in a bad way) experiences that are turkish cons

this is a ranting post. my first time posting here, I hope it is allowed.

firstly, internationally big events are only two things called "gaming istanbul" and "ggcon", each happens once a year. then everything else is literally a small agency/group renting a small cafe or picnic place for the day, except for a group named "kimicon" that rents AKMs (actual convention centres) once in a while but stays between turkish community.

then the visitors. A big portion seems to have warmed up and did lots of activities together, everybody knows each other except me. Whenever I try to start a conversation though, they don't keep it longer than 3 sentences and literally walk away, not even saying a goodbye or cutting me off, just leaving me to finish my sentence by myself. There seems to be a great imbalance of people either being super warm and cold towards wwhoever wants to meet.

Very often, contests also ranks contestants unfairly. during a karaoke contest, there was a guy who did an awesome job on singing "a town for me" by Frank Sinatra. Then there was a 14 year old girl who sang a Kpop song I don't know very badly. But she ranked in 3rd place while the guy wasn't even ranked. After that, there was a cosplay contest, what everyone is most hyped for. a dude who practically just walked on stage in a polyster costume for 2 minutes, was ranked in 2nd place while a girl who performed naginata martial arts in a commissioned proper silk costume, was ranked 3rd.

Here's a VERY bad problem, the worst of all. Lots of blackmails, accusations and cancelling happens after cons, between people who met and broke up there. When somebody is accused, the accused person easily gets banned from different agencies and is super difficult to prove his innocence and lift his ban. THEN it becomes impossible to regain the reputation between the community, they're forever tarnished and blacklisted in peoples' minds. they feed off of lots of drama. A significant portion of people feeds off of online drama.

"the war period life" a medieval movie that focus on medieval idiocy and war time daily life of stress.

the plot is about war's affect on daily life outside of combat. our main character is royal guard in the capital city, of a king who's pretty good at his job of treating people good, but bad at war as his flaw. the royal guard also came from a decent city household with no tragedies, just the struggles similar to that of a middle class person today. no sad backstory.

there is an enemy country's invasion campaign going successful. been close to a month and thhey currently have half the country. however they didn't reach the capital city yet. but the people are still aware of the incoming forces. but there is a lack of common sense as medieval times was like that. people didn't know what to do and did so many wrong things before getting it right.

the city's people are slowly losing their minds with increasing crimes, influential figures fighting over opinions, doomsday preparing. the war is pushing, everybody is trying to prepare one way of another but hurts each other in the process due to lack of a protocol in medieval times' lack of common sense.

our royal guard tries to help during the things he sees, but they spit on his eye every time as they despise the royalty for losing the war, taking their anger out on whoever related they can find. So the guard sticks to observing things. the movie has a lot of his internal monologues on both what he witnesses and reminisencing of his own past.

close to the end of the movie the war does reach the capital and all breaks loose. nobody manages to succeed in whatever plans they made as they stepped over each other. the final battle is the royal guard inside the palace defending against the army along with his crew, blocking the upstairs the best he can. the movie also ends mid-battle with no conclusion once the guard gets his throat sliced off in the stairs. leaving it to the viewer to finish it in their minds.

kittens loved my guan dao

one of them even climbed on the blade while I held it on the ground for them to touch. I lifted it like a Lahmacun. couldn't take a photo though as I was cautious for it to not fall, holding with 2 hands.

newly made guan dao. started practicing today.

This is a good friend of mine's creation I commisioned him. He surprisingly got everything right despite my lack of giving details. He also made a british longsword for himself too. We're going to a medieval fair together this sunday.

seen barely any talk about Korean weaponary.

they seem like japanese weaponary with the material qualities of the chinese main land.

what are the boons and flaws, what are their strenght and weaknesses compared to their neighbours and then european swords?
