Asuka

Asuka

Who decided this was a normal character? Truly? I haven’t even fought him but I’ve been watching videos of people fighting him and all I can think about is the pictured meme with Moon Knight. Like, I can here to play a fighting game not Touhou

If you could, would you stop being autistic?

This is a question I’ve been thinking about for a bit as of late, as although I don’t know why watched the PragerU, they had a video talking about autism in a very biased way. Part of the conversation involved a person who was, according to the video, misdiagnosed and said that the autism has become more of an identity than an actual disorder.

Obviously, PragerU is far from a good place to get help with autism, but the video did plant this question in my head and I’m curious what you all think as well. Personally, I don’t really know if I would, as while it sucks and honestly scares me at times being unable to communicate readily or fit in with others, I think I owe a lot of the way I interact with people and view them to the fact that I experience the world differently. I’m unsure of how much that would change really, and if I would even want it to, which is something a bit weird to say I admit. Does anyone else share this sentiment or no?

Also, for anyone who wants to watch the video, it’s titled “Is autism over diagnosed?” Keep in mind, the video is heavily biased, claiming that the supposed “rise in autism diagnoses” is caused by a “social contagion” but yeah.

How to Skip This Screen

I don’t want to make a Microsoft account since I’m most likely not going to use it anyways, but I can’t find a way past this. Anyone have any advice?

Are there any fictional characters who are not only canonically autistic, but also a good representation of it?

The title says it all. I feel like most fictional characters either fall into the category of being headcannoned as autistic (Rambley the Raccoon from Indigo Park for example) or are autistic but don’t represent it well (Dr. Shaun Murphy from The Good Doctor for example). Anyone know of characters who are just regular autistic people and represented accurately?

Anyone else find guys hotter in speedos than without?

I mean, yeah, seeing a guy stripped is obviously hot but idk, I sorta like the bulge extenuated more in a speedo or briefs than just seeing a cock.

Is this a sign of boys or is there smth I’m missing

I’ve noticed this has been happening a lot as of late, this being that each team has one person of each role on it. Is this because of bots or is there a new rule where each team can only have one member per role? If it’s the latter, that really sucks

What’s sex like?

I feel really weird abt typing this out so bear with me because I’ve never really asked this sorta stuff before. I’m a gay guy and I’ve never had sex before, or even dated rlly, but I’ve been curious about what this is like for awhile now. You don’t have to go too much into detail, but I mean, is it nice? What does it feel like? I’ve been most curious really abt anal and oral stuff so if anyone is comfortable asking what that’s like specifically, I’d be grateful. Thanks again for answering!

Help Learning Esperanto

So, I recently found out about this language, and seeing how widely spoken it is around the globe, I figured it would be an important language to learn for communicating abroad. The main problem is I have no idea how to start learning it, and was wondering if anyone here would be able to help.

Keeping Up with Global Events

This is admittedly something I’ve been struggling with for awhile and something I’ve not really been to big on before until now. However, I’m starting to see the negatives of this and want to start being more up to date on what’s happening, and was wondering if anyone had some tips on how to start doing so.

Is this game still active on Switch?

Someone told me that the Switch version of the game is practically dead but the PlayStation version was fine, but I’ve been managing to find people so I’m curious how dead it actually is.

My Time Has Come; The Trend Beckons Me (Who I Wanted to Main Vs. Who I Main)

Funny story abt these two characters: Back when I first heard about this game several years ago, I initially wanted to play Jubei because cat and Susanoo because he looked cool and the gimmick of him unlocking his specials intrigued me. I then proceeded to promptly forget about this game for years before rediscovering it a few weeks ago through watching a video of all the Astral Finishes, with Es’ being the one that sticked out to me the most. I wanted to play Es because her attack animations looked awesome, but decided to play Jubei because I thought his design looked cool and also footsies. However, I then switched back to Es because she’s a more fun playstyle overall, and here I am.

Fan Faction: Seers of the Swamp (🐢 but they can see the future)

Seers of the Swamp Google Doc

I’ve attached a Google Doc here for those who want a more details view of the faction, but for those who want a more simplified overview, here’s all the main stuff you need to know.

  1. Seers of the Swamp
The Seers of the Swamp are a group of wandering prophets who seek to use their divine gift of reading the future via osteomancy (aka Bones) to bring aid to the leading factions of the Woodland. They believe that by doing so they can maintain order and provide guidance for the Woodland in this difficult time while also converting people to their faith. Naturally, the Lizard Cult doesn’t take to kindly to this and views them as rivals, but that won’t stop the turtles from using their prophetic visions to help people.

  2. Foresee
This is where the core of the gameplay starts. By discarding Bird cards from a pile similar to the WA’s Supporters called the Omens, you can look at the top three cards and add them to either your hand or the Omens pile. From here, you can use Rabbit, Mouse, or Fox cards to control the opponent, moving and battling with their pieces to Fulfill special Prophecies.

  3. Prophecies
They’re functionally similar to VB’s Quests in that you exchange them for Victory Points, however unlike the VB, you don’t use items for these, but instead have to meet specific conditions listed on the cards. For example: “An opponent of your choosing will rule an adjacent Fox clearing” or “An opponent will of your choosing will have 5 cards in hand.” Once the conditions are met you not only gain a Victory Points, but also draw a card from the deck which you can add to your Omens or hand.

  4. Fortune
To further assist you in winning you have an additional deck with cards called Fortune. These cards fall into two categories: Blessings, which help people, and Curses, which hinder them. People can Visit you during Evening and request a Fortune card, but the card they get is random as they draw it from the deck, because being able to read fate isn’t the same as manipulating it. Some of these may give a card to a player, others may destroy their Warriors, but the only way to find out is if you persuade them to take one.

So, how’s that? If you’re interested, please check them out and let me know what you think could be improved. If you have any questions or suggestions, let me know and I’ll be more than happy to respond! Thanks :]

TL;DR: Turtle faction that reveals cards from the deck to force people to take actions and lets you control them.

Favorite and/or least favorite faction and why?

The title says it all.

I’ll start with my favorite: LoTH. This was actually the faction that got me as into the game as I am now due to their cute card art with the Mood cards, plus it’s fun getting to be the boss enemy of the table. I also like the battle mechanics of them and the Moods offer a fun dynamic and prevent turns from feeling repetitive.

My least favorite faction, out of the ones I’ve played, it probably Corvid Conspiracy. Lizard Cult is a close second but at least with them I have an idea of how to win and can somewhat play the game if I get the right cards. Playing crows feels like I’m completely at the mercy of the other players at the table, especially if they guess the plots right.
