Am I the only one who feels like standard diffusers just flatten wavy hair?

Like idk if my technique is just pure garbage or what but every time i try to use a regular diffuser on my 2b waves it just blast them into this weird frizzy bird nest or completely flattens the top.I keep seeing people on tiktok swear by high speed dryers for this and i've been looking at the laifen air but honestly i'm so skeptical. Does Laifen Air's diffuser work well for wavy or loosely curly hair or is it just gonna do the same exact thing?

My hair is super easily weighed down and i feel like most reviews are always people with like 3c curls who already have amazing definition.I don't wanna drop the cash if it's just gonna blow my waves straight out ngl. Anyone with loose curls actually tried it??

what duvet cover texture stays smooth after repeated washing?

I am trying to replace a duvet cover that felt nice at first but got rough after a few months of laundry. It did not pill badly, but the surface slowly turned scratchier and kind of fuzzy, especially near the top edge where it touches my face.

Now I am realizing I do not really know what texture or weave holds up best. Some covers feel soft in the package but thin out fast, while crisp cotton can stay durable but feel too stiff for everyday use.

For people who wash duvet covers often, what kind of fabric texture has stayed smooth for you over time?

I care less about luxury and more about something that does not turn rough, clingy, or linty after regular washing.

Pancake AHU clearance and access panel layout for condo renovation

I’m reviewing a quote for replacing an older system in a high-rise multi-family condo building. The current setup uses legacy water-source heat pumps, and the biggest issues are poor service access and massive condensate drainage issues that have caused minor drywall damage in the past. The constraints are an extremely tight ceiling plenum space with barely 12 inches of vertical clearance, a northeast climate zone, strict acoustic limits for high-end units, and an insistence from the HOA that structural bulkheads cannot be modified.

The mechanical submittal includes a Midea inverter pancake AHU system layout, while another engineer on the team is pushing for a traditional commercial brand setup we typically specify by default. I’m definitely not trying to start a brand war on this project. Before I choose and approve the submittal, what would you verify regarding the commissioning process, access panel clearance requirements, and long-term parts availability for these low-profile chassis?

Anyone else feel like blow drying is the most time-consuming part of your morning routine?

i am genuinely considering cutting all my hair off just so i don’t have to deal with the wet scalp sensory nightmare every single dayBody: literally sitting on my bed under a towel right now with freezing wet strands dripping down my neck and i want to scream ngl i absolutely despise the whole post-shower process because my wrists get so incredibly sore from holding a heavy tool up for twenty minutes straight tbh it feels like a literal upper body workout just to not go to work looking like a drowned rat and by the time the core sections are finally dry the ends already look like a frizzy static mess from the heat damage anyway Anyone else feel like blow drying is the most time-consuming part of your morning routine or am i just exceptionally bad at managing my time before my shift starts?

i tried switching to those microfibre wraps but they just leave things damp and weirdly crimped under the layers has anyone actually found a lightweight high-airflow setup that doesn't feel like a total chore to hold up or should i just bite the bullet and go for a buzzcut at this point lol

Hardwiring a Wolfbox G900 Tripro in a Bronco: footwell fuse box or upfitter switch?

The Bronco install works right now with a Wolfbox G900 Tripro on a fuse tap, but the long-term power route still feels worth double-checking. The cable is tucked along the trim and tied into the passenger footwell fuse block so parking mode works. Part of me wonders whether constant power through one of the factory auxiliary upfitter switches would be cleaner if more accessories get added later.

Has anyone wired a mirror dash cam this way in a Bronco, or is the fuse block still the lower-drama option for daily use and parking mode?

Messi just dropped a masterclass. The invisible pressure on Ronaldo and Harry Kane this week is going to be suffocating.

After what Messi did yesterday, all eyes are instantly turning to Portugal and England. Ronaldo already had a frustrating 1-1 draw, and Kane always carries the entire weight of the English media. If Portugal struggles to score against Uzbekistan or England plays slow, cautious football against Ghana, the slander on social media is going to be generational.

Do you guys think elite players actually feel this specific type of indirect pressure, or is it just a fan narrative?

sage green wall, oak headboard, and now our bedding makes the room look like a tent

my boyfriend picked a deep earthy sage for the accent wall and built an oak headboard that honestly looks great. the problem is the bedding. we put an olive quilt on the bed thinking it would feel grounded and calm, but now the whole thing reads more like camping gear than a bedroom. he wants the room to stay simple and not overly soft-looking, and i want enough contrast that it doesn't turn into one giant green block. would crisp white sheets look too clinical against the wood, or would a warmer neutral like oatmeal/stone work better?

how do you layer earthy greens without losing the clean, grounded feel?

Rear view in my Silverado is mostly headrest and bed cover. Worth running a mirror cam?

My Silverado rearview mirror is almost decorative once the rear headrests and bed cover line up just right. I installed a Wolfbox G900 mirror cam because I wanted a clearer rear view without adding a separate screen, and the visibility is definitely better, but now I am second-guessing the cleanest long-term setup. Running wires through the headliner on an expensive truck makes me nervous, and I am also wondering whether the rear camera will stay stable with bed vibration on gravel roads.

Anyone here running a mirror cam in a Silverado and happy with the wiring route and rear camera mount?
