Friend made a quip against my boyfriend after I opened up about my relationship

Had a friend over this evening, I was opening up about my relationship issues and shared that my boyfriend struggles to communicate in real time (especially during conflict). As she was leaving I was being negative about the weather this coming week, she said “you have to accept the weather just like you need to accept that your boyfriend can’t communicate in real time”. We’d been drinking and this was right before she left so I didn’t really get a chance to process or say anything back, but now I’m thinking that was a really rude thing to say. Am I overthinking this?

Please help me find this dress (or one similar)

It’s my friend’s - originally from Bondi Born. It’s short, not a halter or backless (so I can wear a bra with it), and the belt is detachable - there aren’t even any belt loops, you just tie it. It’s sold out at Bondi Born - I’ve searched a lot but can’t find something that fits all the criteria I listed above. Anyone able to help me out?

Any day spas near (~1 hour) from Aix?

Hello, going to Aix in a few weeks - any hotel day spas within an hour that you’d recommend? I saw the Crillon-le-Brave hotel has an option for 90 minutes of access, anyone tried that?

Is this the lived in balayage I asked for or highlights?

I recently had to change hair stylists (old one moved). I had a half head balayage done to touch up after my last appointment around 5 months ago.

First pic is at the salon (5 days ago), the rest are from today.

What I asked for: Lived in balayage, no harsh lines, no demarcation when it grows out - low maintenance

What I feel I got: All over highlights, little/no dimension, too much uniform bleaching. Likely demarcation upon hair growing out due to high contrast - high maintenance

I’ve emailed the salon and they’ve asked to share pics. But is this fixable without damaging my hair? Also, am I right in assuming this is not what I asked for?

Am I overreacting or is this highlights rather than the balayage I asked for?

Pubs with a garden in Zone 1/2?

Looking to have a chill birthday at a pub with ideally a garden! Preference for West, Angel, Bermondsey/LB, Hampstead, but open to anywhere in Zone 1-2. Any suggestions?

Work in tech, becoming eligible for ILR soon. I asked HR and they said the company can pay for it as long as my manager is fine with it coming out of their cost center. Any tips of broaching the subject with my manager?
