I want to spend one and a half day. And online i can only find bookings for full day. If you guys know any hotels which are cheap and would take money for half a day as well then please let me know..

I need it to be couple friendly and anywhere in vasai virar is ok tbh if its cheap. The lowest I could find is 800 motor the whole day if there is something I can book for 2 nights and one day within 1.4k it would be really great.

I am working as a pipeline developer at a mid level studio in mumbai. The pay is not great, I am at a junior position still learning things. There is a pipeline td thing which does support and a bit of development both(eg. Nuke and blender). And there is another team integrating ai into the pipeline like comfy ui. Also some are developing tools for other reasons not directly for nuke, blender. But tools that are going to be used by management level people for other critical tasks.

I am currently working on a basic tool. That exists in the real world but is paid. So making a proprietary one. But its basic so not much... just learning things.

I dont want to be in support since they have to wait till late to be with artists. Or they have to work on a Saturday as well..

Questions:

How can I convince them that I dont want that hectic extra work but be in core development and never in support.

What is the opportunity I can study for to get a much higher package and if it demands a shift in industry that also works.

How are people in this industry doing as a Pipeline developer. Will my experience count as something or will I be treated as a fresher. What packages can I expect after a year of experience. Please tell me since I consider gaming industry as a product based industry so I expect a higher compensation. If it is true or not?

Tbh I dont even remember python. I have to work mostly with python and its libraries like pyqt.

I will be banground checked. Its a mid size company so I dont really know how much tough it will be to say that my last experience didnt pay me it was a voluntary thing. Although the one before it was a real experience.

I said that my last one paid xx.rs per month. But it was actually the second last that paid xx.rs. The one that is on my resume the most recent one is not a paid thing.

I dont want to wait for 2 years to do an MBA and land a 15lpa role with that. I want to know if there is a possibility that I can land 15lpa within a year if I get some experience from now on.

I will be joining as a Pipeline developer (3lpa) at a VFX studio. It aligns with my profile as I have a certification in VFX as well. Might try to get into gaming roles as that becomes a product vased company and might have a chance at bigger packages. So please tell me do I have a chance to land this in a year? Or am I just on hopium .

I already did a session last week with a group of 25 people, mostly new beginner contributors who have just started. The session was about how to select and shortlist an organisation.

I noticed many students dont know how to use git and github for contributions. Some are still in the phase of selecting a stack or what they want to do.... So its a mix but I am trying to generalise things and make it so that most students can learn from these meetings. While I answer specific questions from students on the group itself.

Give me some topics you think would be really helpful to clear your doubts or help you out this week.

I was thinking git and github but there are plenty of resources online for that..... maybe a few tricks on how to use the knowledge.

I wont even ask if it is true or not because seeing the students from jb trying to get students to buy their 3k course. I am sure these people will be having a biased opinion while shortlisting for the calls.

You might wonder why a 99.5 guy wasn't called because of maybe lack of experience. But it was actually some student in jb that decided to shortlist a known person or someone enrolled in their course.

There are mentors who are taking 3k which are actually students of jbims mfin batch which is completely illegal. I dont really mind that. But now that I know that there is a biasness when shortlisting this will jeopardise my selection i feel the need to share this with others as well.

From what I have heard. I am gathering data. Filing an itr. In touch with ttp and cetking as well. Thode dino ki baat hai bas. Pure maharashtra mein nahi hua to probably bas vo regions mein hoga. But there is a high chance from what I am seeing. Not saying anything here because this will be turning into a court case.

I think new first year 2nd year contributors need some insight which might differentiate them from these main stream youtuber advice. I dont want to do that. I want people to have information on what really happens behind the scenes(in a general sense). If it is a live i will be able to address a few questions as well.
