Large Mouth Bass

My first time painting a fish, my reference was a largie my bf caught not too long ago.

Time spent: approx 3 hrs.
Over 1600 strokes.
I used Procreate and stuck to using “Vintage Texture Mw” “Spectra” and “Wild Light” as my main brushes.

What do we think? Is it at least identifiable? Truly was out of my depth with this guy but I really did try 🫠

Client never confirmed booking, stay is already come and gone.

I had a booking recently for two dogs. They were both incredibly sweet and the owner was nice however she never confirmed the booking and ignored my messages asking her to confirm it.

I DID stay and care for the dogs because it’s unreasonable to leave them unattended like that but now I’m left not knowing what to do. I’m unable to get ahold of Rover support so I just reported the booking and am hoping for the best.

Any advice on what to do from here?

ETA: she WAS responsive until the end of the sitting, where I noticed it didn’t show it was fully booked. From my end it seemed like it WAS booked until after the fact when I got home and saw it said “no bookings”. This is the first time I’ve had something like this happen and I don’t super duper appreciate the implications that my brain is smoother than it is over this. Their entire profile was glitchy the whole time and I figured Rover was just bugging. Lesson learned, I won’t stay at someone’s house again if the booking bugs on me.

Mixed composition geode (former museum specimen)

Wasn’t sure which flair to use but behold! Went through my camera roll and found some pictures of the geode I was gifted when I was a kid. It came from a museum that was being demolished, my step father at the time was doing said demolishing and discovered it among a bin of other specimens and held onto it for years until eventually gifting them to me.

This one in particular has (i believe) turquoise, fools gold, citrine, iron inclusions. If anyone has any questions or would like to teach me about my favorite specimen please feel free to comment.

Can’t add or remove cards

I’m unable to add or remove debit cards or banks, it asks me to verify my banks account number and when I enter the account number it says it doesn’t exist. I’m unable to receive ANY payouts now because it’s refusing to send them until I add another debit card (which requires verification that doesn’t work).

Is there any simple way of solving this? I’m not given any other options for verification unfortunately so I’m not sure what to do. I have $20 sitting in limbo now 🫠

Found these guys in a bag at the thrift mixed with a handful of honeybee acres pets a while back. I’ve always wanted to own some of these guys but they were always out of budget so I jumped at the chance to get them when I saw them lol.

I got a few other pieces of clothing and set items with them but I figured I’d start with these divas.

After over a DECADE.. it’s finally complete…

I couldn’t tell you when I actually got the crystal waterfall and started building it, but I do know it was a LONG time ago. Today, I finally completed it. It was an effort mostly led by the NPCs who are kind enough to gift back, but I believe a few of you from Reddit might’ve helped as well! I can’t believe the journey is finally over… next up, the Homemade Hot Air Balloon!

Thrift finds p2, Webkinz boogaloo

The lion who was sent out to be repriced was back today! But as I was bringing him to checkout the tag fell off AGAIN. This time they let me keep him and scanned the tag bc I had brought it with me. The other two I must’ve missed yesterday but have been secured now 😂

Once again they were 99¢ each 💖

Blessed by the thrift gods!

There was a lion as well but his price tag was missing so he got taken back to be repriced but STILL,, NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN SO LUCKY 💖

No codes but I can’t even be mad. The lil kinz horse and the dolphin have always been dreamies of mine so it really just made my whole day if not week.

+ a bonus rocker beagle from the same store just a week or so prior!

ETA: they were all 99¢ each. I literally could not stop squealing with excitement every time I found one 😂
