Same item, different price but employee can’t verify?

I saw a plate that I loved and there were only two, so I decided to get them as serving plates. One of them had a barcode of 6.99. The other had 8.99. Both white tags (not red clearance), but different item numbers so I assume one of them was labeled incorrectly. I went to the register and I asked the lady to scan and see what is the correct price. She told me she couldn’t do that. I asked her to see the IMAGE that pops up when she scans each barcode and see which one matches my plate. She said she cannot see the image. Is this true? She said she can only sell it to me as is, one for 6.99 and one for 8.99. So I bought it and didn’t fight it cause I liked it. But now I’m thinking of returning it cause it doesn’t match my plates like I thought it would. I worry they will scan the barcode and see an image of a different plate pop up. What a mess. Can someone help me understand how this works?

USA: Antique mirror has lead and is chipping.

I bought an antique wooden mirror painted with gold that is chipping. I didn’t realize it had lead in it. I simply removed the old paper backing that was flaking. Then scraped off excess paint in the back, then used rub n buff to buff the entire thing plus where the paint chipped off. Anyways a friend said that those things have lead paint. I tested it and it was positive. Is there’s a coating I can put on this wood to encapsulate the lead? I worry it’ll keep chipping and lead to lead dust. Thing is, the rub n buff is wax based. What can I do?

Lexapro stopped working?

Lexapro 15mg was great for 2 years. Stable on that dose. I switched my job and it threw me off. I went from a high stress job to a lower stress job. But my anxiety went through the roof like as if I’m not on Lexapro. Panic attacks daily, started taking Xanax again 7 times a month instead of 1. I tried 20mg, got more anxiety and could not climax at all. Now I feel agoraphobic. I feel awful. It’s been 4 months at my new job and I feel awful on Lexapro. Can it stop working

Unexpected side effect of Soolantra and ocusoft lid scrub: thicker brows and lashes

I have been using Soolantra for a month. So far no initial purge. My skin looks much better, but my doctor also has me use Ocusoft lid scrub. My lashes and brows have been thin since 15 years ago. Finally they started to grow, and I’m so happy!!

Anyone with United healthcare had a prior authorization approved/denied for an assessment?

I am finally seeking a diagnosis via prosper health so I can have my providers take me seriously and give me the proper care. They first told me my insurance covered it with a $75 copay, and now they told me it needs a PA. I’m so worried about getting it denied because I really need this formal diagnosis. My physicians roll their eyes or say that everyone is autistic when I tell them and I need them to believe me.

Diagnosed with rosacea, prescribed Soolantra, Rhofade, and sulfur wash. Has anyone tried all 3 at the same time?

Has anyone used all 3 at once? The Dr wants me to start it all at the same time and said they’re pretty well tolerated medications and severe side effects are rare. He said rhofade is for redness, Soolantra is for the pustules, and the wash is good overall. I have failed Finacea foam already so that’s out.

Waking up from vivid nightmares with severe panic attacks

I have been having extremely vivid, traumatic, confusing, and very intricately detailed nightmares, and waking up sweaty, shaking, extremely weak, in severe panic. I also wake up from these nightmares and I’m still half asleep, so I’m not fully in control, feeling a bit delulu when I’m in that state, and I feel like that’s what sends me into a severe panic state. I get really REALLY hot, feel like I’m about to pass out, I feel nauseous, I breathe fast, my hearts racing, and I feel a genuine sense of doom, like to the point I’m convinced I’m dying and I need to call an ambulance. I have called an ambulance twice for this before. It’s awful. I’ve been on Lexapro for a long time with no issues but this just started recently in the past two months and oh my god it’s horrible. Lexapro was a godsend until the last couple of months. I don’t know why it started to act whack. I did have significant changes in my life.. a new less stressful job and a significant schedule change. Anyone else experience this?

Antique/thrift stores for reasonably priced vintage finds?

Is there a shop on the island that has great prices on antique items like tapestries, candelabras, that don’t cost $500?

Massive blown vein, should I worry?

Age 31 F. Yesterday I went to the ER via ambulance for severe dehydration and arrhythmia (PVCs, PACs), and both the paramedic and nurse in the hospital couldn’t get the IV in until the 5th attempt. Should I worry about a hematoma this large? It’s very raised as well

EDIT: I only take Lexapro

Trader Joe’s tea tree oil face wash for demodex?

Anyone tried and had success stories with their face wash? I read TTO kills demodex and I’m tempted to try without using harsh chemicals like ivermectin

Help! I’m at a loss at this point

My derm is just throwing meds at me. They don’t do demodex skin scrape tests, and she wouldn’t prescribe ivermectin. She said it’s a trial and error. Let’s see if finacea works, and if it doesn’t it means it’s not rosacea. So let’s try tacrolimus in case it’s eczema. But none of that is working. I really don’t know what to do anymore

Thoughts on the Oceanside JCC preschool?

I was wondering if anyone sent their kids there, and if they like it? I went on a tour there, it kind of felt like a zoo. But maybe I came at a bad time. Teachers assistants looked miserable.

The skin on my eyelids is darker and has a red undertone, as if I put a burnt sienna colored shadow around my eyes. It’s probably genetic, and as I’m getting older, my eyes are getting more hollow. But the skin itself is darker… it isn’t shadow alone. Plus I have hollowness under my eyes giving that “dark circles” look. Is there a product that can brighten that area of the skin? One that actually works? I’m a bit tired of packing on concealer there.

I have sensory issues and regular foundation is too thick and it bugs me, plus it looks cakey. I want to go for the no makeup, dewy makeup look. I have dry eczema prone skin and I’m looking for a moisturizing tinted cream that doesn’t feel heavy. I’d like it to even out my skin tone so I don’t want it to be too translucent. SPF is not a requirement but is a plus. Right now I have the ilia skin tint with SPF, but I worry it may be a tad bit too oily, even for my dry skin. Are there any other better products?
