Contract Employees just need a way bash the agency it feels like

I had placed a contractor back in January with a major fortune 100 company, that guy was working full time and I told him you are qualified but contract doesn’t seem to make sense to me when you have leave a full time job especially in this job market.

He still wanted to move because he was romanticised with the company I was Recruiting for.

Now 3 months down the line this guy keeps emailing us to increase his pay which is not in our hand, he keeps tell emailing me that he didn’t have any trust in our agency to begin with, I am like if you didn’t have trust why did you move forward and I am also like We did get you the job with your dream company and I laid out all the facts well before hand and you still say its the agency’s fault.

We have reached out to the client and the client says his performance isn’t below par and they are considering to end his contract, leave alone increasing the pay. Now If I tell him that he is gonna once again blame me and the agency.

I get it that everyone thinks they deserve more, but this is pure blame game. Its so frustrating but we can’t say anything to these people because “compliance”

Women aren’t really that great as friends

Off late I have realised upon several instances that women only preach emotional intelligence but lack it themselves.

I have a friend who recently started MBA, before that she had a very bad breakup so she would call me tell me what she is going through and I listened, Heard her out, but now when she has moved to the same city I am in for her MBA she doesn’t answer my calls saying she is busy but then I see her partying every weekend. But she does have time when she needs something from me, initially gave her the benefit of doubt but then again only time she would reach out is when she needs something.

This js just one of the many scenarios I have faced.

Once my friend stopped responding because I asked for my money back, when we started talking again, I asked her why did she stop talking she said you were rude when you asked for your money, I was like If I was rude why didn’t you return my money and then ghost me. Atleast you should have kept your dignity.

This is just my experience, I am sure men aren’t great either but my experience is with women and I was kinda frustrated lately with all this experience.

Have you ever met someone from reddit and how was your experience?

I have met 3 women and 1 guy through reddit, overall postive experiences. With one off the girls it seemed very very weird, she started lecturing me so I didn’t say much, just made an excuse and left. But others were chill

Have you met people through reddit and would you do it again?

People who found love in their Teens / early 20s, you are blessed

I really really wish I could love like I was 17 with spark in my eyes, looking at the girl like she is everything to me.
Its not that I cannot do this now, but I have been burnt
I be sitting at my home and be thinking I am gonna get over myself but rather I end up thinking about everything, MISSING EVERYTHING, HATING EVERYONE and feeling my pain bent heart.
Everytime I look at someone new I look at them like what new lie are they gonna tell me now and I know myself that if I like them enough I will believe them.

Long term Google Pixel users please help

No doubt pixel cameras are amazing, I just wanted to know from long term pixel users if they have seen the camera getting worse after a couple of years.

I need a good camera, does google intentionally deteriorate the cameras? Or do software updates make the camera worse after a couple of years?

When I think of buying a phone, I think atleast 3-4 years.

Song lyrics that hit home

“Hum bhool gaye har baat, magar tera pyaar nahi bhoole” - This makes me feel alot of things and definitely I get a tear or two when I listen to it alone.

But my friend interrupted and told me, good for you cause you have nothing to forget since she never actually loved you.

Now Idk what to cry more on

Could this be the reason for loneliness or people unable connect with new people?

Back me up with my theory here - alot of posts related to people not being able to make friends or connect. But I think we all have been hurt or left traumatised by someone we loved (family, relationships etc) that most people have become incapable of new relationships and lost the capacity to trust, so even when people say they wanna socialise they want that feeling they used to get from that one person but ofcourse nobody can be them and hence people loose interest after a while, we are all here chasing a feeling. I wish I could write it better like I imagined it in my head, but I hope I make sense

Has anyone worked with MSP clients

Has anyone worked with MSP clients

So most of these MSP clients use a VMS to submit candidates on.

But the problem is most of them have mandated asking last 4 digits of their SSN and Residential address.

Some clients have started asking for full DOB

At this point I just sound like a scammer trying to get their information and even upon educating them most people dont understand

I am confused

I am currently on an Iphone 13, I want to upgrade and I am willing to wait a few months considering there might be some good phone to come later in the year.

But the main issue I am facing is choice, all i see is people praising the cameras of the chinese phone and all this talk about the best camera, I blink and there is a new phone in the market that supposedly has the best camera. For a non tech guy like me it is really confusing.

Is the difference that big? Because in a video for a Vivo phone I see the Vivo is clicking a better picture than an Iphone 17 pro and then in another video Iphone 17 pro is winning? Is it all a propaganda?

Also please tell me that the photos I see on the internet with those beautiful shots but then some would have that nostalgic feel to it and the others seem purely cinematic like the main character of a movie - IS IT ALL EDITING?? If its all editing, does it matter what flagship phone I have or any flagship can take good photos and then people just edit?

Please bear with me, I am very non technical and also an over-thinker lol

Why the hypocrisy

You all must have experienced candidates applying for jobs left right and center even if they are not remotely related to what they do.

And If I reach someone whose transferable skills might be a fit then I am the bad guy for not researching the job?

I keep on seeing these posts from people on LinkedIn where they say Recruiters don’t do their research.

Do these job seekers do? Everyone is shooting their shot. Some people are just salty because nothing is going on right with their lives

Rant - Am I right?

Does anyone here feel like there’s too much cringe fans here during the IPL? Because I remember few months before the IPL it seemed like only the cricket fans who follow cricket were there - there was so much positivity that time and even though fans were still disappointed but there was an overall positivity

Now this sub is either you agreeing with people or them abusing you

1-2 match koi player na chale to remove them ke petitions

Captain ko mid season drop kardo ke petitions

There’s alot of influx of these people now, I know I am gonna get hate on this post too, but I hope there real ones will come for some support.

PS: I am fan of the team since 2010, I just want to see us doing good, yeah some decisions made recently isn’t what all of us like but I am sure the new owners will make better decisions in the upcoming years.

Cheers to the hope of making playoffs in top 2
