Looking at how the corridors of the Backrooms repeat and extend to infinity, my idea is that the Backrooms are "living fractals" capable of absorbing certain characteristics from outside. They are in the same dimension but superimposed in layers, and at the center of each fractal reside these entities. And by opening a door to our world, each of these fractals absorbed some of the characteristics of our world. Is this idea original? Or could it be a valid explanation?

Mas parece que o autor já tinha planejado que o foco seria a garota, e acabou tirando o namorado dela de cena depois que percebeu que as cenas de ação do rapaz eram mais empolgantes pelo visto. Se fosse só com ela o anime poderia se chamar "Blablabla Nojutsu", ela fica explicando as coisas demais, até a exaustão e mais um pouco.
