Allow yourself to reach your fullest potential

I don't mean try being perfect. I just mean don't try to be imperfect. Many times you know the right things to do and you don't not out of laziness but out of this subconscious fear that it's dangerous to reach your fullest potential. That the world will turn against you or find you too much or too pretty or too ambitious...whatever it is. You are allowed to walk with confidence and not hide when you're feeling pretty or happy.

Me saying this, will probably keep diminishing my accoplishments etc to feel safer from bad energy. I can't lie. But I will try to do it less, shrink myself less and not be afraid to be consistent with excersize or wear nice clothes. A lot of it is avoiding attention that makes me uncomfortable but maybe we can decide that it's not dangerous. That no bad energy can affect us. And definitely no words or looks of envy. Be brave and shine. For you.

For the women: do you notice your cycle triggering negative thoughts?

I notice in the middle of my cycle, I usually get doubts and it's the only time my FA tendencies come out now. I've been in a relationship for a year. At first it was a battle but I felt it was worth it and indeed it was. Now I see this pattern, I get a little weird for a few days, want for space, don't feel comfortable being touched while in general we're all over each other. Thankfully I know a few days ago and a few days after this it's great. But still it's stresses me because I go from "I'll marry him" to "I'll have to break up one day"

The first and the last

The text placement wont behave thats now how i originally wrote it

First love, first touch First kiss, first crush You and I We're none of that

Been loved, been touched Been kissed, been crashed But none of this matters It was only just scatters

We laughed, we talked We stared, we walked We stopped and thought but kept moving along

We sang, we saw a future of gold Movie-like love Kept us moving along

We dreamed and waited We went slow and we craved it That's when you touched my arm And made yourself the first and the last Like the sea meeting the sore You erased everything there was before

First date, first touch First kiss, first catch Only first of all that counts Only first I care about.

Taurus x Taurus rut

I'm in a one year relationship with another Taurus and I see why they call us hedonistic. All we want to do is touch touch touch and eat and feel feel feel. I notice when we started dating it was more common to plan an activity like a movie or a game or cooking and then end up doing the rest. Now if we meet at home we always make out from the start and the slow burn is gone. I need my time and the built up lol. Some mental stimulation. I guess I have to communicate that more, because I already tried. Did anyone else experience this and did you manage to fix it

When life is like a movie

I found these beautiful images related to my story.

Last night I went to the beach with my boyfriend of one year. We watched the sunset and the moon rose from the sea, orange like a foreign fluorescent object. It was windy which made it more romantic to me. My skirt and my hair moving around and him sitting beside me, admiring eachother and him trying to capture how he sees me through his eyes with the camera of his phone.

I decided to stand up and feel the wind all over me, take everything away and reset my mind. He follows. We hug and kiss and I look around. Just sand. A few people much further from us. This is my chance. I run. I escape playfully from his arms and he chases me around at the beach. I laugh like a kid and he scoops me up everytime he reaches me. Progressively happier each time.

Our music playling in the backround, makes him spin me around and hold me, dancing like we're in a movie. I feel like a princess and he feels like a man. I feel like a kid, safe close to him and he can be himself with me. Never thought all this could actually feel so real and not performative. It was pure happiness.

I love it when we dance. I love it when we play. I love that he is mine and I am the one to calm him down and put him to sleep just by existing near him and loving him unconditionally. I love him and I can truly say he loves me too. He's patient and kind. He's empathetic and giving. He's smart. He gets me. He really does get me and even when he doesn't, he accepts me. I feel accepted and safe to do anything with him. This is love. This is what being blessed looks like and I wish to never deny this blessing.

If you can't swallow pills I got you

God forbid you ever do need to take pills, but realistically you will at least need supplements. In the unfortunate case where you still haven't been able to shallow pills and in the even more unfortunate case that you can't/shouldn't crush them or whatever, I'm here to share how I learned very recently.

It takes practice. If you're really struggling there's likely no advice that you'll just follow once and then be confident in doing it. It took me a few weeks and I'm still not confident since I've been scared for years but at least I'm doing it and if I have a hard day I may cut one in half, all that matters is that you keep trying.

  1. The fear is normal. It's something unnatural, to shallow without chewing. Don't feel shame. Through my humble research I found that when you shallow, automatically the airway gets blocked so whatever you shallow is guided to the right pipe. So even if you shallow and it doesn't go down all the way (which only happened to me once when i accidentally shallowed it after having it in my mouth swimming around for a while😂) you just need more water. The worst case scenario is some discomfort but I'm impressed how I don't even feel them when they go down. Cause at first I was feeling it and I thought it would be impossible to do bigger pieces. All you need is a second of confidence. All my fear was in chickening out too late. That's where the hesitation was. But even when I do, my tongue just blocks the pill and I only shallow the water.

  2. That being said, you have to get comfortable with the new sensation of this foreign way of shallowing. They teach kids with candy but i personally practiced with food. At first i swallowed pieces of tomato or half a small peanut which were bigger than the pill but still the pill felt dangerous. But after a while it didn't so much. Practice with pills/food you can cut in pieces and gradually do less small pieces. Do take a break for a day if you get overwhelmed because you have to collaborate with your mind here.

  3. Do your own research. I could write all the possible ways to take a pill but it's all out there. Find what works for you. I realised if i have food rest on my tongue and shallow, it will go down so, so will the pill. I just may tilt my head back so it "swims" to the back of my tongue before I take a comfortable position and shallow.

Good luck and do not be hard on yourself. This is a skill that you'll be proud to have and progress likely won't be linear but I promise if you try almost daily for a few weeks you'll feel so proud :))

Overcoming fears and starting new

This summer has been a challenge. I had to learn how to shallow pills which, I did many times so far but it's still stressful. But I did it!!! I thought I never would.

I overcame the fear of a specific doctor appointment that triggers my gag reflex badly but I sat through it.

I handled a severe allergic reaction very calmly while I have some health anxiety. Instead of being scared I would die I accepted it and waited to survive it praying for no extra complications. For small things I will still be a pain in the ass but apparently in big crisis I'm good

I overcame my fear of being on a boat especially for 2,5 hours I thought I would get seasick but it was pleasant most of the time.

I started looking for my first job and I did my first interview today.

Also I applied for jobs all over the country, as a person who didn't want to leave her hometown, it's a big step thinking the bigger picture.

Also I'm getting my boundaries stronger but this has been a life long process. Always getting better😊

Had a proud feminine moment today (and more)

Recovering people pleaser let's just say. I'm doing sooo much better than years ago but I always keep learning cause them wires are big and tangled lol.

I was walking and on the other side of the road I saw a friend (not a close one at all). And I said his name and when he saw me and stopped I waited for him to cross the road cause I hadn't seen him in a while. It was almost empty but he was taking soooo long. I almost went it's okay bye. And then I realised. This man was seriously waiting for me to cross the road to get to him. Lmao. So proud it didn't even cross my mind for a while.

Idk if I sound selfish for being proud of this but I love to see my thought process changing.

The extra part in the title refers to me distancing myself from my best friend that isn't a friend like I am to her at all. So after years and years I invest the same back. So, crumbs. Selfish crumbs. She's nice but she doesn't know how to consider others if its not in her favour.

I'm grateful it looks like I will sleep tonight

I haven't slept more than a few hours this week due to an itchy allergic reaction to antibiotics. Today I think I'm ready to have a more peaceful night. Grateful it went away too

TIFU by going to the beach

Since mid June I'm cursed. Got a swollen gland under my jaw, then tonsilitis and was on antibiotics (yeah you know where this is going). Before the last day of antibiotics saw the doctor again and he said I can go to the beach. Never said I couldn't but I knew better. So I went to the beach. And the next morning I had nornal red shoulders from the sun but also some red spots that kept getting more. And I stupidly went to the beach again, as I had planned, with much sunscreen and planning to not stay in the sun long but that didn't work cause beach bars have the worse quality of umbrellas on earth they are just for show. Soooooo now I'm all red and itchy. And stupid. And angry. And ITCHY.

Did I mention I didn't wear sunscreen the first day at the beach? Yeah I'm double or triple stupid idk I've lost count.

At this point I'm just writing to reach the word limit. So I'll add that the previous two times I went to the beach I got stung by a jellyfish. And the itchiness lasted a week each time.

TL;DR: I went to the beach on my last day of antibiotics and also the next and now I'm suffering.

Why do people lie so much

We all know the usual fake "we should make plans sometime" but once again I fell victim to this bs. Met a childhood friend that wasn't even a good friend (rude jealous etc). We're mid 20s now. She said we should go for coffee. Told me to text her. Next day I did and got ghosted. And I'm mad because I shouldn't even text her I should assume she's still a bad person since 6th grade lmao

Pain before and after period

I started being sexually active since April. I struggled a lot to do it but after it happened I was surprised how easy it was. It can still be painful at first but when I'm close to my period (prior or after) I notice I'm even more sore.

Is that a common/normal experience? (Or am i just not ready enough)

And do any of you have ways to make it less painful? I notice, for me, the angles can take it from torture to heaven 😆 but i haven't figured out exactly what to do and what to avoid.

Taurus x Taurus review

For anyone wondering now or in the future, I want to leave this here and say I'm a Taurus with a Taurus bf for a year now and so far there were no issues. It's like we were trained to be together from the start. I was seeing mixed opinions when I was searching myself at the start so I wanted to add my positive experience. I don't want to write an essay so ask anything specific you're curious about! :)

I usually do the same routine but it doesn't always sit right on my skin. Today was one of those days and I looked horrible. Make-up was dry, skin was dry...

Anyway! This saved it:

Patting my face with wet cotton pad and even better if you haven't done eyes yet, splash your face with cold water.

Hope it saves someone. I also do it on good make-up to make it even better. I recently saw that on social media too but I didn't think it couldn't fix make-up as bad as mine was today!

It's not that I have one, it's that I have this one. He's reprogramming my brain. He's treating me the way I treat others which is all I ever wanted.

What made me make this post now is that for his birthday we planned to get away for the day but I'm sick. Not too sick but sick enough to not be comfortable spending the day away from home and risking getting worse. I told him the disappointing news and he didn't take any frustration out on me he just suggested another way to spend his birthday with me.

Whenever I'm afraid he will get angry or rude, he doesn't. He's a mature, logical, loving person and it's sad how rare that is. I'm also grateful that I haven't experienced serious abuse but still the difference from other people is noticeable enough to make me cry. I can for sure say that this guy loves me and I hope that it won't fade away with time.
