Heavy intervention by RBI

Rupee rising with sudden spikes. Looks like RBI is doing some heavy lifting today. For how long it will last is anyone's guess. From 97 to 96 in a matter of hours. That takes some firesale of USD to achieve.

Maintainance society vs normal society

Why are so many builders refusing to switch a maintenance society to a normal registered society at least in my area? From what I understand they get to keep the land to themselves. Is that true? Also how to force them to switch to a normal society ?

All information that I am seeing about the nationality is about the passengers but not the crew. Given how widespread seafaring is amongst Goans is there any news about anyone from Goa being on that ship?

What is going on between govt and GU? GU wanted to start some courses. Goa Govt has come down heavily on the Uni to stop them from doing this. From what I have read these are not some 'sensitive' courses because we have super sensitive people in power nowadays. Most of them are science courses with a couple from humanities.

GU has already been slowly strangled by these governments by refusing to let it grow with the times. Now that there are private Universities in Goa this seems to be an attempt to kill it off once and for all. Does the govt not understand that the best universities across the world are public universities? Private unis are just businesses pretending to care about academics. All they care about are fees. Nothing else.

Instead of building GU into an excellent University these guys have instead ruined it and allowed the entry of third class private Universities from gujrat and Maharashtra. If this is the future for Goan students then academics in goa is doomed.

It's for an elderly person with hearing issues. Is there a feature phone whose earpiece volume can be increased or decreased? Not the loudspeaker volume because then privacy goes for a toss.

While other countries are building their future, our state is now behaving like the illiterate poor backward states of India. We are debating a guy who is dead for 400 years, a random metal pillar, and now flinging casteist remarks. No clue where it is all heading but it doesn't look good.
