Cutie found in a raspberry, she was in the fridge and then put on top of ice cream but she was a trooper, alive and well even after all of that! Gave her some time to warm up and then put her near some tomato plants!
Absolutely could NOT resist getting one. Look how cute he is!!
I know Google exists but I prefer word of mouth from people that have actually used the service 😊
The male peacock spider performs one of the most complex courtship displays in the animal kingdom.
Despite measuring only a few millimetres, he puts on an extraordinary performance to attract a female. He raises his brightly coloured abdominal flaps like a fan, waves his elongated legs and moves through a carefully choreographed series of steps. He also produces vibrations that travel through the ground, adding another layer to the display.
Each peacock spider species has its own distinctive colours, movements and courtship signals. The female watches closely and decides whether the male’s performance is convincing enough for her to accept him.

She keeps her front two legs raised to look like mandibles or antenna. Jumping spiders are amazing.
Some spiders can engineer some pretty amazing webs! 🕸️
Meet the Australian ballista spider. This arachnid diligently spends up to four hours crafting a web trap designed to catch one type of prey: the green tree ant. When the green tree ant triggers the trap by biting, it’s rapidly thrown upward into the spider’s main web. Some scientists think this might be the first spider’s web engineered to catch one kind of prey!
Still no idea why she does this sometimes. Such a silly spood.
I personally make these crystal spiders using stainless steel wire I both weld and solder into a durable and pose-able armature and all glass/crystal beads (no plastic or acrylic).
