Reliable sellers for tape deck belts online?

I'm looking to buy some new belts for a tape deck that I have, do I really need to worry about the reliability of the seller/product (will I actually get the belt, is it the right size, etc.)?

I'm specifically looking to buy this kit, is this legit?

Dumb idea (threcord)

You know how there's a thing called a thnickel (thick nickel), well how about a threcord (thick record) that's just a vinyl record but like an inch thick

Why do some tapes have this crackling on the leader? It usually happens when I record on the tape with a lower quality deck.

I've had this happen on some cheap DC bias shoebox decks with electric erase heads, and on this AC bias boombox with a permanent magnet erase head. It doesn't happen when I record on my higher quality decks though.

And to clarify, this is "recorded" somehow on the plastic leader, not on the actual tape. I'm not sure how that's even possible.

Does anybody know what the cheesy synth vibraharp was in this recording? This track would have been made sometime in the mid to late 80s.
