Should I be more worried about this?

It’s been like this for a while, last dentist apt said to keep an eye on it and they could do it for £300
(Take it out)

I said no and went on to wait for the NHS list. It began to get painful so I went back asking about it and they said it’s too complex for them now and needs to be done by the hospital anyway. I’ve had emails over and over again from them asking if i still really need it, to all of which i’ve said yes because… of course i still need it? (UK)

They referred me to the Maxillofacial surgery clinic specifically. It’s been a couple of months and have had no follow up. I presume this is normal as our waiting lists are horrific. Is this something i should seriously be worried about in the meantime though?

It’s not hard to eat, it doesn’t hurt usually but i get waves of aching when existing and eating randomly. Added a visual representation of pain. I’ve been taking ibuprofen almost daily during these waves. My grandma suggested whiskey and oddly it helped, although not sure if that’s a good thing to do. The other side of my jaw is completely fine however.

I’m totally not a tiny bit panicked :)

Recommendations for pubs/antique shops in a particular area.

My partner and I will be travelling down this weekend, attempting to look for a good pub with that cozy feel that is genuinely decent and not influencer bloated. As I understand, some pubs they speak about may genuinely be good! But i’d prefer to ask locals instead.

We will be going through Bibury, to Bourton and through Upper Slaughter. Finishing at stow but considering to extend to Moreton or other places if there’s anything lovely to see. People have said Broadway is lovely so may go there also! I’m looking for a lovely pub surrounding these areas specifically. We will be driving of course.

The purpose of our travel is a date afternoon/night. So a romantic esq “rustic” pub would be nice. Candles and what not. It’s also for purchasing art, i’m looking for some oil paintings for my home. If anyone had any recommendations for antique shops where I may find these please and more also advise me please!

Thank you for taking the time to read. :)

Edit: Were specifically looking for British cuisine, cozy pub classics. My partner and I both love steak too! He loves seafood, but i do not. No other dietary requirements.

New gothic gown and no occasion to wear it. 🖤

Fairly recently bought this amazing dress, not fully realising how impractical it would be. Anyone know of any gothic vampire balls or such in London or the surrounding area? Dark fantasy themed maybe? I feel like it’s too dressed up to use for halloween.

May aswell show the internet if the public shall never see it. 🧛🏻‍♀️

best island to visit focusing on nature, hikes, beaches and food? less city and influencer focused.

i’m from england and have been thinking about planning a visit for a while now. it would probably be quite a long visit and would happen in the further future due to the time it takes to get there and how costly it is. the culture and natural beauty surrounding hawaii as a whole is just absolutely beautiful, it’s something id really like to experience for myself. 🫶

i’d like to go somewhere focusing on history, nature, and food. less americanised and corp polished, i’m not looking for luxury at all or big cities or massive hotels. i want the main focus to be appreciating the space and supporting local businesses. family owned preferably! giving back to the people of hawaii and not into greedy pockets. i feel like when i do research around this sortve topic is always really americanised, very aesthetic heavy, seemingly completely trend-washed. everhone just talks about the newest hottest trendiest spots etc etc, all i want is an authentic experience.

from what i do know, i realised there’s a couple of owned islands, luxury focused islands, there’s o’ahu which seems to be a hot influencer spot? if i could get some help i would really appreciate it. i’d like this trip to be really memorable :’)

as for the type of get away im looking for, really slow paced. beaches, good home made style food, maybe a little shopping here and there. i love collecting unique hand crafted goods. hot temps and alot of sun is wonderful.

thank you so much for taking the time to read!

Buried In Spring - Integrate is pretty damn sick.

came across my feed, almost passed it up but glad i didn’t. i feel like its one of the rare modern day songs that have been able to capture that emo-ish essence.

Happiness feels like electricity, it’s awesome.

I’m sitting here watching the rain fall in the massive rainstorm we’re having and all I can think of is how excited and happy i am. It feels like electricity going through my limbs and it feels almost magical.

I hope you’re all having as wonderful a day as I am!!!!

Still feeling incredibly anxious around new foods. It makes me sick.

Whenever i have to try something new or a recipe I love is altered it makes me feel really upset. I like to stick to routine and have maybe 5 meals I alternate between. I’ve been like this for as long as I can remember.

Today my parents have made me my usual curry and in its place have put beef instead of chicken. As soon as they said that I physically felt my heart sink and I started to feel incredibly panicked and my heart is racing. I’ve never had it with a different meat before and I just feel so anxious. It’s almost like I have an instant negative reaction to anything even slightly different, it makes me sick.

I just feel so anxious. Does anyone else suffer with this?

AITAH for pinching my boyfriend to get him off of me?

TW Abuse due to bodily harm caused by another.

Sometimes when he (M24) gets up off of a seat maybe the bed or something he will purposefully put his hands on my (F22) leg or waist or something to get up and to be honest it hurts. I’ve told him it hurts but he continues to do it and beginning to make me uncomfortable.

We sometimes play fight and when we do it almost seems like he’s actually out to hurt me. I’m a thin and fairly weak girl, but he will bend my fingers, dig his nails into me, etc etc. There’s been multiple times when he has left my house or I have left his with bruises on my body from him playing too rough.

But this weekend was different. We were relaxing around and being silly. He began pinching me out of no where with his nails (not fingertips) and then began tickling me and would not get off. It annoyed me so bad that i grab his arm and starting digging my nails into his arm and crying because I just wanted him off me. He instantly let me go and called me abusive. I’ve never “fought back” like that before but I just had had enough.

I felt really remorseful for it and explained I was sorry, i also explained that I did it because he really hurt me and i’m sick of him seemingly purposefully doing it all the time. Never have I ever hurt him back when he’s done it to me in the past, that was the first time. With my apology I said I would appreciate it if he could apologise for all the times he’s done it to me or hurt me and he said he’s done absolutely nothing wrong.

I need to know if I am actually in the wrong here. Am I completely blowing this out of proportion?

Context: I should’ve put more context in my original post even though i’m not sure at all it would change the situation. We do not live together, I’m his first girlfriend, he’s an ex porn addict (or still is, he claims he is “fixed”). He has had very strong reactions to stuff in the past, getting frustrated and once or twice hitting things out of frustration. He used to get really riled up when gaming, but he doesn’t seem to get over frustrated with it anymore. Not that this changes the situation at all and i’m not trying to make excuses.

I completely see where all of you are coming from and seeing everything from the perspective of others rather than my clearly rose tinted view has helped alot. Thank you.

Trying to find a top like these from Reformation in better fabrics.

SPECIFICALLY the first one.

I understand I could just buy them from reformation but they use Lyocell. I want to find tops in the same or similar silhouette but 100% cotton or 100% another non toxic organic material. Understanding that Lyocell is technically natural, I hate the way it feels against my skin. Please help!

(No shein, no mega fast fashion companies, i have no budget)

Uncomfortable to sit, anyone else? Is it normal?

I’ve gone from 15+ stone (210lbs/95kg) to 12 stone (168lbs//76kg). My height is 5’8. I understood with the loss of weight my body would obviously lose fat. My face, arms, everywhere has gotten much slimmer.

But for some reason I didn’t expect it to become very uncomfortable to sit. When I sit down it feels like my bones are going to come out of my skin, it’s painful and uncomfortable. If I sit on my hands I can quite literally FEEL the roundness of my bones. It’s caused me a lot of concern because I didn’t think that was entirely normal?

Will working out prevent this feeling at all?
