Maybe my favorite version of Sanctuary
I wish they had a full studio version of The Celebration Of The Lizard. At least we have a few good live versions
So I'd seen this little beast running around a few times but yesterday it all changed. They came up and stole the bird bread and water. I know enough that bread won't cut it so I bought a couple cans of Friskies Prime Filets and guess who came for dinner tonight and has been living on my deck for two days straight? Its really hot here and they came right to the open door maybe to cool off inside but didn't cross the door. First, is 1 can a day at night with water good? I actually held the plate still at the end for the last bites and there wasn't a speck left. Second, if the little creature wants to come in should I let it for a little while and watch for it to want to go back out, unless it wants to stay? I was nearly certain they would be inside,so so close to coming in. Last, how old do we think they are? Thank you in advance for your helpful insights.
A super quick start, if you're looking for the vinyl there are a bunch out there, make sure to get the 2lp set, the 1lp has tracks cut. The Cd somehow got lost but it was off this show. I met Bruce in 94 when he was doing small shows to promote Balls To Picasso. He played the Hard Rock in Boston, it was free, he played 3 songs(tears, cyclops and 1 other), just him and another guy with a guitar (Roy?) there were maybe 30 people and after the show Bruce signed everything everyone brought. It was so fantastic and looking back I can't believe I was there for something like that. A couple years later I saw Maiden in a tiny club in Boston (Avalon RIP) with Blaze and it was equally fantastic.
I love this show so much (1sr bootleg and most recent), even more so than Hammersmith despite no Total Eclipse. They had this show so tight at this point it was just on tearing fire. Setlist says they did Prowler and Running Free, but the ending with Drifter is just perfect with Bruce's, 'I want you to scream!' and Steve's, 'Cheers, see you soon' Maybe my favorite of all live shows
I forgot what this was. The thing is that the album Speak Of The Devil is Sabbath and these are Ozzy tracks, less Randy. Brad is really really good though. Plus.Ronnie comes out. And the digital lazer bats!
1977 was near the end of the first era and for sure the show from the 24th showed signs of the excess. This on the other hand was tight as could be. Overall.
What I like is that the hype sticker is on the cover and the gold promo stamp is in the perfect spot. Also as an interesting note up until this album Prince had been a teetotaler and then he met a woman and jumped straight to mdma. I love this album too and it's no knock at the guy at all, he was super talented and a genius but watch that Batdance video again knowing what you now know about the mdma and it will.all make sense.
Nearly 50 tonight. There's more tomorrow!
A nice pro shot show from their peak (probably) and its just fantastic. A little more than 30 minutes and they slay.
Seventies Heart? Not quite, but still really good I think.
The first picture was of my alsatian,Molly. She was the best and that was a picture I took of her last year on the longest Friday of the year. She's gone now but had a very long good life. We'll, yesterday was the longest Friday and I was a little sad that she wasn't here for her picture. Essentially out of nowhere it rained for 15 minutes and as soon as stopped that rainbow came out right above her tomb. Maybe it was a coincidence but I'll never be convinced. It was as assuring a sign that I could have seen and I know we'll be together again.
Stealing the bird and squirrels food. Such a wimp straddling the rail for a quick escape
Might be their best work.
For some reason reddit won't let me post the cartoon cover.
Reddit is censoring the cartoon cover....
So it turns out there is no full video of this show. As a consolation prize this 15 sampler is no joke
