Quitting reddit probably
i feel like the censorship on reddit is getting very bad. It's not the same forum it was when I joined 10 years back. I find it's starting to become unhealthy for me, the paranoia and the stress. I have contributed a lot to reddit over the years and amassed 130k karma. But the way I've been treated by reddit makes me wonder if my work here is worth anything to the platform. I'll likely be leaving over time and I'm not using reddit for entertainment or hanging out any more.
Seeking advice on how to share my list of accounts with reddit team.
Hello, I'm starting the appeal process for my reddit alts. I've been unsuspended on my main which is what I am typing from. I think if I give them a list of all my accounts, suspension timestamps and associated emails it might help me come clean about what happened on my end. Do you think it's a good idea and what would be a secure way of doing this?
Trying to understand the ban message I received from reddit
I had received an all account ban on all of my reddit accounts last year. Since then, my main account has been unbanned but all of my other accounts has stayed banned.
I assumed this was in error and made support tickets inquiring about it.
After the appeal period of all the other accounts had expired and requesting admins to lift my ip ban, I was able to make new accounts normally. I made 2, alt1 and alt2 but only really used alt1.
So yesterday I received a policy violation on alt1. I appealed it and thankfully the admins notified me the warning has been lifted.
5 hours after that, both alt1 and alt2 got banned citing ban evasion, spam or inauthentic activity. And the appeal also got rejected.
I'm not mad I'm just confused. The warning triggered this banned, yet the warning has already been removed? And if I'm ban evading, what ban am I evading? I only have 3 accounts now and all of them were in good standing with high CQS. I'm just really confused what is happening and what I should actually be doing. I wish I could talk to a staff, if I had a friend that worked with reddit I'd get in touch. My goal is really to just use the site normally within its rules completely and I'm willing to disclose all information if I can contact someone from the team.
Where are other big mbti communities other than reddit?
I'm having trouble with my reddit accounts, I feel watched and I feel like I have a bounty on my head. Although I think reddit is good for discussions, I'll probably slowly pull out of it because it always feel like my presence here is hanging by a thread. It's difficult to walk on eggshells and wait for the next shoe to drop. Are there other big mbti communities outside of reddit? This is one community I enjoy interacting with and I would like to keep doing that even if I'm locked out of my current medium to do that.
Disclaimer, I have little experience spending time in other social media.
Found on facebook marketplace, was looking for a dell xps 13
Living like a king, intel inside. Optimal circular mousepad, radial coverage.
A young girl who wanted to distribute cookies, chocolates, and wafers she had prepared in Eyüpsultan, Turkey, for free encountered far more interest than she expected. Due to the intense public demand, the treats were gone in seconds.
VXE R1 Nearlink vs Endgame Gear OP1 quick motion delay test (4ms difference)
Endgame Gear OP1w 4k v1 vs VXE R1 Nearlink - Wireless 1k Motion Delay
The VXE R1 Nearlink seems to have a ~4ms motion delay compared to Endgame Gear OP1w. The OP1w also seems to be tracking a little cleaner.
Both running wireless 1k polling rate. Both on competitive mode/high power mode.
I tested a couple of times just to be sure, and there is a delay each time. About 3.9-4.9 ms.
Polling rate stability is around the same.
There is dpi deviation between them, 1600 on op1w is close to 1650 on r1.
I ran these tests after using the op1w and finding it feeling faster in the hand compared to the r1. The tracking felt slightly higher quality and more responsive to my hand movements. I wasn't sure if its placebo or maybe it's because of the difference in shape or dpi deviation or different sensor position. The test result actually surprised me, because although the mouse felt slightly faster I didn't actually expect there to be a motion delay difference between them.
The lod and tracking quality is slightly better and more consistent on the op1w. That along with the faster response times it is noticeable in the hand but not very much. It can provide a small amount of competitive advantage if you train with it by building better muscle memory, but I think the effect is much less than what a good shape can do for you. Compared to the op1w, the r1 has the tracking quality that feels slightly like that on a Bluetooth mouse, but nowhere near as bad. The difference between them is very miniscule. I suspect the difference comes down to wireless tech, mcu and implementation rather than sensor performance.
The OP1w feels faster than R1 in both tracking and clicking. In general it's a more responsive experience. However, in terms of competitive advantage between them the difference is marginal.
I've also tested 1k vs 4k on the op1w and the tracking felt slightly smoother on 4k. However, I don't think this will provide any amount of competitive advantage and the extra smoothness doesn't necessarily feel better either. I use 1k polling rate on it.
Can you tell a difference between 3395 se and 3395\3950?
I was using an r1 nearlink till now. It has a 3395 se and nearlink 1k connection. The mouse has been flawless pretty much, zero connection issues, latency or anything, zero spin out. The front is a little wide for my neutral hand position (19x9 cm hand, 5.2 cm neutral grip between ring finger and edge of palm) but performance wise it's pretty much flawless.
However I felt like I might be missing something because it uses nearlink and not the tried and tested Nordic mcus, and the sensor is not a flagship sensor so I decided to pick up an op1w 4k as a control/reference mouse. I've been wondering if it'll do something or I'm overspending on mice. What do you think, do you think there is a difference between flagship mice and base level mice like the regular atk a9 base model, x1 se, r1 nearlink, etc?
Not getting good frames. Gpu chilling. Cpu likely bottlenecking for some reason. 5600 (stock cooler, offset undervolted) + A750
5600, stock cooler Intel Arc A750 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz
here's an image of hwinfo while under load, playing overwatch at 200 fps. It often drops to 140 or so fps while gpu has low load, chilling at 55c. I'm not sure if it's the cooler. CPU climbs to about 85c but not much higher. CPU utilization low.
Should I get a peerless assassin?
For me the least favorite thing is that there's a lot less actual gun fight than I thought. Most of it is hiding, and walking around. People are shy to take gun fights and take cover continuously, and the actual gunfight lasts for a second or so. My main motivation to play this game is to enjoy my mice collection. The main thing I end up doing with the mouse on valorant is 90% crosshair placement here and there and 10% shooting. I enjoy the practice range and deathmatch more than comp.
The most favorite thing is that this game runs very clean. Very high fps and the rendering and everything is super, duper smooth. Mouse movement, tracking everything is very clean. Other games should learn from it.
