Does anyone know what paints were used for this?

Found out that I got this from a great grandma so I’m guessing it’s at least decently old. I shot it for the first time today and was just wondering if anyone knew specifics?
My hair has sat back like this as long as I can remember, and I was told that I had a widows peak. That said I’ve also heard that if it goes this far back it’s usually a receding hairline. I haven’t noticed a change in it in my life, but I was wondering what other people think?
FYI it doesn’t really bother me either way, I’d just like some opinions on how to style hair like this, and what I should do with it in the future?

I’m really new to RPGmaker. I’ve been working on a game with some basic sprites in Aseprite, but when I looked into things it seems like you should really try and size your characters to a certain type. All of the character sprites I’ve made so far fit to different sizes ranging from 27x37 to 37x50.
I’m wondering where I’m supposed to go from here. Do I need to restart and try and fit these characters to a 48x48 grid? If so, how do you make larger sprites? I’m very lost
I got these two as rescues, and I plan to get about two more as well. They share this 20 gallon with a betta, some shrimp, a few Cory catfish, and some neon tetras. The rest of the fish, shrimp, and plants are doing fine and after some tests I don’t think it’s a water problem. All I can think of is just the lack of other loaches.
I’ve also heard that they prefer sand so I might order some to put over the stratum. Any help would be appreciated this is my first time keeping this type of fish.
I just got back from a six day trip. I’ve only had my betta for about three weeks, so I was worried about how he’d do while I was gone. When I came back last night, I gave some mysis shrimp which he ate up, but this morning I noticed he may be a little beefy.
I can’t tell if I’m just imagining things, but I can’t imagine he’d be this big just from one feeding. The only things I can think of is either 1. He’s snacking on the algae wafer I give to the shrimp and loaches, or 2. He’s sick.
For now I’m going with the first option because he’s swimming just fine and has no discoloration, but I wanted to hear all of your thoughts. Should I stop doing algae wafers, and if so what do I do to feed the other critters instead? How do I help my fish
I’ve been cycling this aquarium for a few months now. It’s a 20 gallon with a large piece of driftwood for a centerpiece. There’s a canister filter and a heater that is set right at 79 degrees from what the thermostat says.
Two days ago I got some plants, just two anubias, some bacopa, and dwarf hair grass. All I’m using is fluval stratum substrate.
Yesterday I purchased three snails, two khuli loaches, a few ghost shrimp, and this betta. I let them float in the water for about 40 minutes and then began acclimating by pouring a quarter cup of water into their bags every 15 minutes.
As of right now, everyone seems to be doing okay. I’ve barely seen the loaches as to be expected, and my betta (I think I’ll name him Lalo) is happily exploring his tank.
I always went into this project knowing I wanted a betta tank and I’m in love with black water aquariums so I wanted to try tan ins for myself. Even after boiling this driftwood it’s given me a ton of tan ins, and so far there’s been no algae booms.
All I have left to do is to order a new UV light, and purchase some more stock. I plan on adding a few corys, a small school of rummynose tetras, and some more shrimp. I’ve heard that ghost shrimp from pet stores usually don’t last very long but I’ve had no problems so far!
Any advice from other hobbyists would really be appreciated, as I’m still very new and want to learn how best to go from here. Are there any beginner friendly plants you recommend to add? Are there any problems you’ve noticed with the tank? I’m constantly scared that I somehow don’t have a good setup and that I’ll hurt my fish.
Randomly thought about this a little while ago, but has there been an attempt at a game that combines settlement building and skirmish systems on the tabletop? Something akin to Catan or something similar but with a genuine battle system?
I could totally see something like this taking off as it could be as simple or intricate as the players want, from using cardboard and junk to building serious miniature towns and models.
Forgive me if this isn’t the right sub for commissioning pixel artists, but I am looking for someone capable of doing pixel art for character portraits in an rpg I’ve been working on for a little while now.
The first four images are characters that would have portraits. I am looking for portraits in the style of the fifth image, with an art style similar to the last image.
I am only needing around two different portraits per character (some even less) and have around four-six characters that need portraits. That said all I am working towards at the moment is a demo, so in the future there will be a need to make more portraits, so I am asking for an artist that has a decent long term commitment (I can pay separately when the time comes)
When it comes to pay, I’m open to anything within reason and I’d love to discuss it privately (I promise I won’t lowball you)
