Closest thing to a cotton feeling shirt for hiking?

I bought a couple patagonia capilene shirts and holy crap, that synthetic feeling feels so gross, I don't know, I hate it. I know cotton is bad for winter and people recommend synthetic, but is there really no other material I can look for? I hate the feeling of the synthetic stuff.

Would the Xmid 1 pro handle winter in the adirondacks, or should I expect to buy another tent for winter?

My goal this year is to spend as much time as possible hiking the ADK and practicing my backpacking skills for winter. I was wondering if I'll need a new tent for winter or if I'll be able to use this one just fine.

Does the average person just don't like spending money on hobbies?

I have so many hobbies, tons of different gear for all sorts of things. I always have people asking me to take them fishing, or camping, but when I tell them they have to buy the gear to go do it they back off. Do these people just expect to get into a hobby without spending a single dollar? Now I just get annoyed whenever someone asks me if I can take them with me, or teach them because it's always the same thing, they never want to buy anything to go do said thing.

So we don't get member rewards if we use the anniversary 20% code?

I just noticed it doesn't say anything about getting cash back when the code is in.

Hyperlite unbound 40L or arc haul ultra 50l?

I have the chance to buy a new hyperlite for $300, but I've heard they're not that good, and the arc haul ultra I bought is like $480. Thinking about canceling the order and just going for the hyperlite since I'll only be using it for 2-3 day hike, and not actual long backpacking trips. Are they really that uncomfortable as they say?

Want to do a couple high peaks in the ADK but not pay for hotels or rooms, I want to camp around or sleep in my car if I have to. Doable?

I have a lot of free time now, and was thinking about going to the Adirondacks for a month and just chilling, I want to summit a couple mountains, do some rock climbing, and see what's up before I head to washington state to do some glacier training.

Some advice on this gear I bought? I'm a beginner when it comes to backpacking and ultralight.

https://lighterpack.com/r/ejw2yb

So that's currently my sleeping system, a little over 2k. I've been told it might be overkill but I have a bad spine, and I can't afford to carry a lot of weight like before, I'm trying to build an ultralight kit for my coming backpacking course. Also what are some other things you'd add? I have trekking poles for the tents, I just don't remember where I put them so I can't get the exact weight. Am I buying good quality stuff, or just paying for the brand?

My plan for this is go to and do backpacking in the Adirondacks and get ready for winter, I might also head to Washington state this summer and want to do a couple peaks there, I'm trying to buy the best I can possibly buy. Any help would be really appreciated.

I've been hiking here and there for the past few years, but lately I've been thinking about getting into backpacking, my plan is to head to the Adirondacks this summer and start there, and hopefully get enough experience to attempt a couple winter summits. Then head to Colorado to do a couple peaks there. Not sure if this would be a good kit, my friend has all his gear from Hyperlite and it's held on pretty good all these years, not sure if maybe there are other brands I should look into.

The reason why I'm going ultralight is because of my bad back, I can't afford to carry a lot of weight for 20+ miles. so I'm trying to go as light as possible.

Need some opinions on this, please. Thank you.
