The fucker has WALLHACKS, ya know the one fucking ability in most shooters that either has a long cooldown or is an ultimate. He has 300 hp plus he can get overshield cause FUCK YOU for even trying to punish him and thats not even getting into the deflect and DAMAGE REDUCTION. I hate him on so many levels and his main gotta realize that the fucker has been meta since his release. Also theres no way to nerf him without gutting him and no buffing him without breaking the game. FUCK DAREDEVIL.

Those who have paddles with him did you keep the same binds after they changed it to dashes or did you rebind it to something new? I find the binds so clunky now that I don’t have to hold a paddle constantly for the plasma body. What do y’all do?

Did the new buffs in 8.5 genuinely made him better? I use to play him during melee tech seasons and he was great. Ever since they reworked his dashes, I just hate how he feels slow and needs pocketing constantly. Is it better this season? Or you still need that Luna flake and attention to survive? Or can you live by yourself?

So I’ve done a lot of testing, he can literally fly now like he did back in the day. You could only get up a ledge last season now he can straight up save his kick and go quite far. Also, is it me or the auto lock is better? You don’t float permanently when you see the lock thing. He goes back to pulling in???

Played for a bit the whole day with my duo, who’s a Black Cat main. Both of us are top-tier DD and BC mains who’ve finished top 150 on both characters. We both have 100-250 hrs on the characters. The nerfs to Black Cat are obviously bad; they’ve legitimately gutted her, but let’s not talk about that.

DD officially has a shorter engagement dash than BP; it feels horrific. On some maps, you’ll feel like he’s the same because once you close the gap, you’ll do the same damage; however, having to close the gap with all these poke heroes and stuns is physically horrific. His brawling is the same, but as you know, he doesn’t brawl as well as Fist. So I don’t know what they were thinking. He’s essentially a better bp but he’s insanely map-dependent now. You can use your grapple to engage, but you’re essentially going all in, which makes your disengagement really risky.

The vision bubble around DD (the dark bubble) used to show your full dash range but now it’s this awkward 12m which is unplayable. 15m would have been okayish and fair but 12 is absolutely horrible.

The meta itself is full of poke right now, and Cyclops is insanely busted. He will probably poke you out before you even see him; his dashing away makes closing the gap physically harder. Those are my thoughts; they essentially gutted him. Yes, you can adapt to the range, I guess, but it’s so bad on most maps.

I was playing a game the other day and someone was trolling me for “wearing a mess of a skin” (the agamotto skin). I personally love it, I just love the fact he has a half mask and looks like Danny Rand skin. It’s very super hero like. I do think it’s a tad bit overdesigned but as a whole it’s sick. Is this the majority ?

Just thought I’d share my comment. I see a lot of you trying to hate on black cat, I understand why you do it. There’s no need. The true evil is 3 support, Dino, Gambit, hitscan slop like Phoenix. MELEEs UNITE.

I’ve been playing fist for a long time now and I was genuinely wondering when do you guys block with fist. A lot of people including NugNug say that they block early at full health, the goal for them is to be at 475 with overhealth + full health. However some people like ricey, actually state that they block at low health on purpose in the assumption that it brings more overshield (it doesn’t).

Anyone here play cap on console and also play venom equally well. I just find venom insanely more team dependent than cap. I can run celestial lobbies so easily on cap whether solo dive or with a second dive but I just find venom so clunky. It feels like I don’t do damage sometimes and it’s so annoying having to escape. It feels like he needs constant pocketing. I’m just wondering if there’s any current good cap mains that who are also good on venom?

Do you guys hold RT/Left Click with Venom or do you tap ? He has no reload so just wondering :)

Why do you guys hate anything that’s fun or mobile in this game, mostly divers obviously, but the same happened to Elsa. I’ve noticed a pattern that whenever a new character drops and that character is fun and mobile, think Deadpool, Daredevil, Elsa, Black Cat, etc., you guys try extra hard to tell people that the character is insanely easy to play and that the character needs major nerfs. You will literally already call them broken before they even release instead of just enjoying the game. I’ve noticed the same doesn’t apply to supports like Gambit when they first released; it seems to heavily apply to mobile DPS characters specifically melee divers, with a few exceptions such as Elsa.

I personally enjoy characters like Rogue, Cap, Daredevil, Deadpool, and Black Cat, essentially versatile mobile heroes, and I’m sick of people also picking these characters to call them “braindead, button-mashing, easy”. Why don’t we hear “Phoenix is easy”, “Scarlet Witch is easy”? It’s always so conveniently a non-melee dive player or a support main saying “DD is braindead”.

I know this isn’t everyone in the community, but it’s a large enough portion. I mean, we have people perma-banning DD to this day even after nine nerfs and still calling him broken. I urge you to try playing him in a high celestial game as a solo dive. “DD is annoying”, so is Namor, Hela, Groot, so is Phoenix, who is undivable and unkillable at any range. I’m fine with so many characters being busted; don’t get me started on supports; however, y’all can’t allow melee or fun characters to exist.

Before I hear “you’re having fun, but others won’t”, “you only enjoy them because they are broken”, I’m literally the biggest flex player, and I’ve been maining Cap, Iron Fist, and so many heroes that are called horrible. I don’t play heroes because “you think they are broken”. I just like versatility, mobility, and how fun their kits are. I’m sorry I don’t want to play Hela and snipe people across the map, sorry. Now can we enjoy a character like Black Cat without crybabies trying to ruin every single good thing about this game?
