Have there been any "DLC Lite/Light" mods released for BG3?

I'm fully aware that Larian will not be making DLC for BG3 (Working with WoTC isn't exactly easy going)

But i am wondering whether there have been any DLC esque mods that have been released for BG3?

I know it would be a tall ask for them to be decently voice acted as well. But worst case scenario is "No, none like that"

Never played any city builder (And certainly not Anno) since the very early 2000's. I've already messed up the layout

I'm not that far into the campaign (Anno 117 - Maybe like 3 hours of bumbling around as a newbie so prob more like an hour for a competent player). I've already realised i've messed up my layout and i can't scale very efficiently, it's been shotgunned everywhere (Like not seperating my material manufacturing from my housing) stopping expansion by putting building on the outside of the housing

Is it better to try and fix my mistakes by moving/deleting, or just starting a new

I'm doing campaign given the logic of that should introduce me to the mechanics slowly as needed rather than handing me the toy box and saying "There you go"

For anyone curious the only city building game i played (If anything i'd say it was before city building became a established genre) was Zeus: Master of Olympus

Was a niche game from what i've gathered

Looking for a good books on magic that are also audiobooks?

Because i have borderline dyslexia i tend to find reading more of a chore than something I’d enjoy because i often have to read things 3 or 4 times to actually get what the author intended rather than what my brain THINKS they mean

As such i tend to turn to audiobooks in that case

I've always enjoyed the theme of wizards and mages in fiction but i've not found something which scratches the itch i'm after

What i'm looking for is a story where mages are around are often casting spells in "combat" but aren't shunned or hunted like they are in the Witcher series

Also not too much of a fan of all political intrigue no action (Ala it's all about mages being advisors to kings etc. and never mages doing mage things)

Do any of the books go into more detail about mages?

I've always loved the concept of mages in fantasy/high fantasy; my only exposure to this series is Witcher 3 and the first series of the Witcher on Netflix

I'm aware there are multiple books in this franchise, do any of them go more deeply into mages, for example having them be one of the main focal points of the story, or are they all kinda "Background exposition when it's needed"? in light of Geralt?

It doesn't feel like there is a clear cut "Good" and "Bad" side when it comes to the war (Witcher 3)

After hearing about the new DLC for next year i though i'd replay this game (And actually get the good ending as i got the bad one on my first play through)

Early on i'm not sure if should be routing for or angry at Nilfgard on the one hand they do seem to come across as an aggressivity expanding empire (thinking Roman Empire or even the British Empire)

But also there does appear to be some form of trying to better the lives of the people they invade

This makes it difficult for me to RP which side i'm "playing for" as it were. My guess is this is by design

Generally is succession "Better" than awakening from a casual PvE mindset?

I frequently come back to BDO when i'm looking for a change of pace (The combat loop is just so freeing for me)

And i've always gone awakening for classes cos it's always looked cooler to me (Plus i was thought succession was more of a stopping point for new classes till they got their "actual endgame" tree with awakening

I mean what other game has you playing as a wizard with floating orbs litterly pound slamming fire on the ground ....

Anyway. For general casual PvE is Succession now the better tree as it were?

Realitically how long should a sub £200 full mesh chair last?

I bought a full mesh office chair back in Oct 2020 for use at home when i'm gaming, working from home and playing guitar and i'm starting to notice random things now seem to be falling off (i've had two springs fall off and some random small parts of metal fall off). Chair still works fine but i'm definatley noticing it's not as sturdy as before

I got this from an aactual office furniture store (Warranty has long expired)

Getting nearly 6 years from a office chair, is that generally "Good going" for a mesh chair or is this a sign that i either got a bad one/needing a more "heavy duty"

Wanting to honour my late brother but nothing ever feels "Good Enough" ...

I lost my brother 11 years ago this November (I was 23 he was 25) and i've never done anything to honour him/his memory as nothing felt quite "right"

However i'm getting married in just over two years and i just feel in my gut that honouring him at my wedding is the right thing to do. But nothing i can think of ever seems "good enough"

It's either too much or it's not enough. Sometimes both at the same time

My current idea is when i'm half sold on (Again don't feel like it's "good enough") is to wear his 21st birthday pocket watch in my suit (My parents got myself and my brother pocket watches for our 21st Birthdays; meant purely as oranments but they do actually work)

But again i don't feel like that is good enough. I'm aware i wasn't the most emotionally open brother at the time of his passing (I had my own shit i was dealing with from university), but he did mean a great deal to me

I have a need to control my enviroment due to anxiety (Not sure if this is a "picked up" trait)

So a bit of clarity, my mom also has anxiety and she is rather overbearing and has to control things in order to manage that anxiety

Now i also have an anxiety issue and i have noticed that i'm falling into the same coping strategies of need to feel "In control", however i'm not wanting to control other people and what they are doing, i'm more wanting to control my own biology

Example: I really don't like the fact that i have urges because these are inheritantly unpredictable and i can't control when they happen, leading me to try and control them indirectly (Activley abstaining from sexual expierences and trying to kill my own libido) or in some cases trying to activley control them

Heck i've considered chemically castrating myself a couple of times to gain that "Control" (Note: These thoughts never got any further than intrusive thoughts)

Yes i am in therapy and i will be bringing this up to my therapist

But i don't know if this coping strategy is actually a learned thing because my mother did/does it or whether it's actually a strategy i've developed

Is there a way to allievate this?

As it was recently Star Wars day i decided to rewatch episode 3 and pne thing came to mind. When Mace and the other members of the council heard about Obi Wan engaging Grevious and stating that if Palpatine didnt give up his emergancy powers then he should be removed from office

To me this sounds very much like they were considering a coup. But im not sure if a coup has the requirement of it being a military group taking control. Which the Jedi although were acting as general in the GAR where not a military organisation

I'll freely admit that i'm very into my music (As in it's a "special interest"; yes i'm most likley autistic)

I tend to find most music at weddings seem to be the same kinda stuff and is generally "Meh" when it comes to getting me up and dancing

The venue we are getting married in has thier own resident DJ, however i'm creating my own playlist. Would i generally be ok with telling the DJ "I've actually created my own playlist please can you play these songs throughout the evening"

Or would that sorta be like taking the "Creativeness" away from said DJ?

I don't want to appear to be a dick or anything, given that i also am a musican (Guitarist) so i'm wanting to make sure i'm getting off on the right foot and even though the wedding is over 2 years away i'm someone that likes to be prepared

So i started with base sword and shield till i got my head round the general combat flow. I have now switched to hammer but have noticed that the creatures i'm currently fighting in the story are rather quick or their heads are significantly above the hammer's range

I have been to the training dummy and have found that outside of the sword and shield the following seem to fit for me

- Hammer

- Gunlance

- Insect Glaive (This one seems very me as it's very flowy and has lots of verticality)

I've been informed that "Any weapon can be viable" and i don't doubt that at all, but i am wondewring in for someone who tends to get confused easily at the moment (Each fight i'm going in blind and i have no foundational knowleadge to back me up)

Are their any other weapons other than Sword and Shield which are easier for a new player to get to grips with

So i only started this game (and indeed this franchise) last week and my brain is overwhelmed by so many mechanics and options. I'm currently staying with Sword and Shield till i have a better grip of the combat flow

Anyway i have no clue about when to "Upgrade" i don't wanna waste material and create say a Bone 2 Sword and Shield if it's actually kinda "meh"

Also is it better to have higher base damage or elemental when just doing the story missions (Given that i don't have preop time given i have no idea what i'm fightning)
