I decided to post my Lizardman Blood Bowl team, I've loved the team since the Citadel Journal days and when the plastic kit was released I rushed out to buy it. My team has been napping for a few years but I recently stumbled across some of the Forge World Star players to mess about with. Hopefully I'll upload the team in closeups in the next few days if I remember and the star players when I eventually get round to painting them. Unfortunately I already need a bigger pitch for them since I already have a model without a hole allocated for him. Thankfully I could 3D Print a surface now instead of spending hours boring through thick card with a hand drill and swearing. 😂

First post in the subreddit, I hope you like them. 😄

I've finished work on some Ruststalkers! I'm quite fond of these angry little Skits and it was long overdue I finished a unit of them. Let me know what you think.

I've had this guy for years, it was a gift from a friend and was very intimidating to paint up. I've recently taken some better photos of him and his "horse".

Here's the Mozrog Skragbad that I painted for my girlfriend for our anniversary. I enjoyed painting it but I kept wiping paint off the top of the squig while I was painting it, which was quite annoying.

It was a good opportunity to paint this model as my Ork army is more Mek-happy so this guy wouldn't fit in thematically.

I haven't painting this guy since the lead model back from 2nd edition, this plastic model is quite the glow-up. It's taken me quite some time to get round to it but it was satisfying to finally get him varnished. I look forward to him contracting new model syndrome on the tabletop.

We grabbed some Treelords and set to work. His version was really cool, he combined the staff and the sword into a spear which looked really impressive. I decided to build mine stock, and this is what I eventually came up with.

I'd heard of Jacaranda trees and after some google searching I thought their unusual foliage would be a good inspiration for a striking paintjob. In recent years I visited Australia to catch up with my sister and one of the towns we drove through a town with a great number of Jacaranda trees lining the streets. It was cool to finally see them in person. I hear they are very messy trees, creating a lot of leaf litter?

I'm primarily a 40k painter, but I'm mildly obsessed with the Aeldari/Eldar Avatar of Khaine, and the model has a lot of those vibes with a more fantasy spin on it. How do you think I did? What should I have done differently?

Here's my Sydonian Skatros from the Radiant Forge of Torburnides. A wayward Forge World that has an inconsistent contact with Mars. The Forge World offers technology to local systems in exchange for radioactive waste from land-based reactors and starships, which is enriched into munitions used by their Skitarii. The Forge World also harvests a rare green crystal mineral known as Vespasium which is lethal to unprotected personnel.

Edt: This Skatros thinks Gears of War sucks. Those waist-high walls are literally useless. :(

I just took some new photos of my Belisarius Cawl model and wanted to share. What do you all think?

Hi, I made this a little while ago, it's the first prop I've made, it was 3d printed on my FDM printer. It was modelled by Sevenunited on Cults 3d.

I hope I will eventually be able to make my own 3d models but building someone else's design was a good test to see if I could successfully build something at this size.

I need to improve on smoothing out seam lines and printing ridges, my filling and sanding skills weren't as I would have liked, but for a first attempt I'm pretty proud of this.

Here's a Chaplain I painted for my DIY Ash Revenants Chapter a while back. I followed a painting tutorial by Darren Latham for the face and it's the best face I've painted so far.
