What do you like about the pre-Time of Troubles version of Toril?

  1. I like the vintage feel of the Grey Box and its accessories (Waterdeep, Savage Frontier, Moonshae)

  2. I like that It is the closest thing to Greenwood's vision before TSR and novel writers added their, sometimes oddball, stuff tò the setting.

  3. I like that It Is a bit more grounded with less weird humanoid races running around than later editions.

  4. I always liked the Dead Three more than Cyric (not that i dislike the Hawk-Nosed Thief).

Full Political Border Map of Faerûn

UPDATE: The map pictured is not the latest version. Since posting I have made some adjustments based on the community's comments. Thanks. The folder link is still good. Here is a link directly to latest full resolution file:

Still slowly working on my project. Here is a map showing political borders. It includes the following:
Nations (Undersea and on land)
City State spheres of influence
Barbarian tribe locations
Monster regions of control

This project is continually evolving, because of your input, so please continue to share your opinions.

Here is the link to the folder with all a few variations of this map. As many of you know, I have been working on modifying and relabelling Mike Schley's 5.5e map of Faerûn. In this folder is the complete map in hi-res, called, "Faerûn Map All Nations.jpg":

Let me know if you are looking for something more specific. I have enjoyed tailoring this map for the use in other DMs' games.

If you want to see the clean map, look at "Faerûn Atlas WIP.jpg"

What are your thoughts on the upcoming Warlock videogame?

I know It Is going tò be set in one of the domains of Ravenloft (Darkon) instead of Faerun, but what are your impressions at the moment?

Is It going tò be a win like BG3 or a dud likes Dark Alliance?
