Reflecting on hook ups

I thought about some of my past hook ups. I've had mostly good ones, but there have been a few awkward ones too. For instance, one of my regulars I've seen for more than a year tried topping me on two separate occasions. On both tries he prematurely ejaculated every time his cock came near my butt.

There was a different encounter where this premature ejaculation happened while we were making out.

During those situations I felt disappointed, but now I find it funny that it happened. These two guys are both in their 50's and have experience with men. It all came as a surprise. Lol.

Y'all have any awkward moments or funny hook ups? Please share them.

My therapist cancelled our appointment...

It was about 5 minutes before our session. He lost his father a month ago and the feelings of grief surfaced for him. I said it was ok and to let me know at least an hour ahead of time next time. It was a bit awkward because I know how painful it is to lose someone, but I didn't want to break the fine line between a patient and their therapist.

I wanted to comfort him so I sent him a link. It's from a videogame.

A son tells his dad, "Let's make a promise. I'll listen to your voice in my head when you're not there to guide me. And you do the same all right?"

I started to cry a bit afterwards. I didn't tell him why I sent the link. I left it at that. I hope he figures it out.

It's his dad's celebration of life this weekend.

Was the whole situation appropriate?

I'm doing a voiceover for a video of mine. I'm using a HyperX Quad Cast 2. It's better than using my laptop's mic, however I've noticed there are still the echoes whenever I talk.

I only have the free version of Davinci Resolve. Is there any way for me to get rid of the reverb?

It's been a while, but I played it again and I enjoyed it. That surprised me because I didn't care too much for the Remake, but I'll be playing that soon to see if the changes played a factor into that.

Anyway, with the OG the gameplay was fun. I enjoyed it when it came out and I still like it in present times. Doing the roundhouse kicks and watching Leon do his backflips was entertaining. He was Daddy AF. I loved using the Mine Thrower and Rifle. I'll have to try out the TMP sometime.

I didn't find Ashley as annoying. In the game's initial release I hated her. Now, she's all right. The only time she truly gets underneath my skin is when she's locked up and constantly screaming for Leon. Otherwise, she's a cute and campy character. I was cut off guard when she called Leon a, "Pervert". Lol (I jumped to a lower level and came back to get her).

I love how Ada was a baddie in this one. She was elegant and sexy, but didn't fuck around and could stand her own ground. E.G. when Leon chokes her and she stabs him in the leg.

There were slight moments when it seemed like the game was dragging on, but it wasn't too bad. The main story was told in a way that wasn't over the top. It gave just enough information to keep me intrigued and wanting to play more.

Overall, I give the game a 9/10.

I played this game when it came out on the PS2. Idr if I beat because this is a highly difficult game. It goes from "standard" difficulty to hard without warning. What helped me is that I'm used to making multiple saves in different slots vs saving over the same one many times.

Anyway, I was intrigued by this game since it's been so long. I had vague memories of Wesker. Especially, when Claire initially meets him. I immediately thought: "This is corny. He's a superhuman now". I had similar thoughts when I was younger. I even remembered Wesker having that conversation with him in the lab full of frozen B.O.W.s. Wesker wasn't a selling point for me.

What I enjoyed the most about this game's main story was the Ashfords. They're probably my favorite villains in this series. They aren't boring and predictable like Wesker and they're not entirely B.O.W.s both of them have personalities that are different from the antagonists in the RE series.

I found it sad to see Steve die. Yeah, he was cheesy and creepy at times (trying to kiss Claire while she was sleeping...), but he kept trying to save her even when he mutated into the monster. 😭

What I didn't like was the default difficulty and how people could soft lock themselves in this game because it became so difficult. I've read that many have raged quit too. I don't blame them. The boss fights were ridiculous. I'm not sure what the creators of this game were thinking.

The unexpected item switch was not helpful. I'm truly grateful I'm accustomed to making multiple saves. Oh, the sudden need to kill that worm without much time in between was not a pleasant surprise. If the wait was too long the lighter would no longer be available to Chris. SMH.

Overall, if it weren't for the Ashfords IDK if I would have put much effort into completing the game. Steve and Wesker were corny. Although, it was great to see Claire and Chris unite.

I doubt I'll play this game again. It took me a while to defeat the final boss. Her third form took me many tries. I used 6 Magnum shots to her upper body and 6 shotgun bullets too. This was followed by maybe 30 regular arrows...

Trying to shoot her with the laser cannon was a challenge too. I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish with this game. It did answer my question: How come no one ever talks about Code Veronica X?

Here's a quick tip for the beginners. If it's too dark to see turn your monitor's brightness up. I had to. Their intention wasn't to have people use the lighter like people claim. It was a terrible update to HD.

I give this a 4.5/10.

I typically prefer to use them once before the first boss fight, another when I've reached the sewers because it can be difficult down there and if I die there's a lot of progress lost, and my last one before the second boss fight because it's the most difficult boss.

I find NEST aka the laboratory the easiest to play through and I don't think G3 is too difficult to fight. The final bosses are easy for either player.

---edit ---

I made the second save after getting the Magnum and before heading towards the queen and King pieces. My final save is before the 3rd boss.
