My node is back online.

I redeployed my node after being down for several months. The base of the antenna sits at 23ft.

I made a topo map of a friend's race from a few years ago

I took USGS topographical data and overlayed my friends Garmin GPX data. I also had to exaggerate the hight by a factor of 2.5 to make the hills more pronounced.

*This one-time version is my prototype set. The coasters have a rougher top surface than my current smooth top version.

Shipping is included for the lower 48 U.S. states. If you're in Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the continental U.S., I'll need to calculate the additional shipping cost based on your address.

I'll be printing more sets and plan to make another post in a week. If these sell out, feel free to send me a PM anyway so I can gauge how many to make. Also, I had some interest in custom colors like a red firewall, so let me know what y'all like.

One last thing:
These are currently on the perpetual licensing model. Get yours before management forces me to switch to Coaster-as-a-Service (CaaS) with a mandatory cloud subscription! /s

Beach Trip

I don't have a 4x4, so I'm not sure how well it can drive on lose sand. I stuck to the hard packed sand areas.

Also saw this 350 dually trying to pull someone a buggy board. Try were not that successful...

Networking for your drinks!

Unfortunately, Amazon failed to deliver my red filament. So my L3 switch coaster won't be ready for a few days. I use to print and then paint in the white and red with enamel.

I just acquired a new 3D printer that can print four different colors of filament at a time.

I joined the BambuLab club today!

I took a break from 3d printing for about 2 years after having issues with my Ender 3. Today I pulled the trigger on buying a P2S + AMS2 at BestBuy for $700.

This printer is insanely fast compared to my old printer!

[FS] [US-TX] San Antonio HPE Aruba 2930M (JL322A) 48-Port PoE+ w/4-port 10gb SFP+ card

Timestamps/photos: https://imgur.com/a/ulWQNV0

Selling my HPE Aruba 2930M home lab switch. The switch is fully functional and has been factory reset.

It comes with the following items:

  • 1x HPE Aruba 2930M 48G-port PoE+ (JL322A)
  • 1x HPE Aruba 4-Port 10G SFP+ Module (JL083A)
  • 1x HPE Aruba 680W Power Supply (JL086A)
  • 1x Power Cable
  • Rack ears

One thing to note is that the front four 1Gb SFP ports (45–48) are dual-personality ports and share resources with the last four copper ports (45–48). If you plug a 1Gb SFP module into port 47, for example, copper port 47 will be disabled.

The rear four 10Gb SFP+ ports (A1–A4) are independent and do not exhibit this behavior.

I am selling for $350 + Shipping. I prefer local pickup
