What is a hand where you play the second best option instead of the preferred discard?

Every time I get this kind of hand, I pitch the paired face cards into my crib.

The bears are on the loose everywhere

Just my opinion,we crossed the threshold into bear territory earlier this month. The next four years are going to be challenging. Just look both ways, hedge, and good luck.

Suggestion for Cribbage Pro

Since Cribbage Pro js now affiliated with ACC, I have a suggestion.

Have a members only room where they can play two games against each other where the first dealer changes. With each game, the player's ELO/Glicko-2 changes. Players are matched based on the current rating.

This would be different from Game Colony, where players have to find someone willing to play them.

Today's final felt like a mashup of 1990 and 2014 wrapped in one.

In 1990, we saw an Argentina team that had no interest or ability to score, and stupid red cards. Throw in that the Argentineans had the best player in the world. They lost 0-1.

In 2014, Argentina had Messi, but he was kept at bay, and again, the team was unable to mount a serious offense. They lose 0-1.

In 2026, we have, yet another stupid red card, Messi, and no offense. Again, they lose 0-1.

Playing not to lose always ends up losing. England owns this

We can blame a lot of things, but after they scored, they stopped trying to win. In American football they say the only thing a prevent defense prevents is victory.

Ads on Cribbage Pro

I paid a fee to go and free on Cribbage Pro. Over the weekend, the app was really glitchy, and now it's ads non-stop. What am I missing?

What burns me about this German team

Except for 1976 in the Euros, Germany never lost a shootout. They were practically automatic winners. In the end, the Germans would always win.

Now, the reports that no one wanted to take the kick, so Tah stepped up. That is not the German way. Where was the pride?

The DFB needs to perform a full autopsy on this program to identify all of the issues. While sacking Nagelsmann is a start, more will need to be done.
