Seeking advice for mother with dementia in extreme pain due to spine deformity.

Mom is in memory care with fairly advanced dementia. 87 years old. She has had back problems she refused to address for 30+ years. Now its so bad shes in agony and needs surgery but, she prob wouldnt survive recovery. We tried epidural injections with zero relief. We tried a mild pain med and she fell twice. Im her poa and there is no other family. It all falls on me and its really taking its toll.

If the roles were reversed, I would just take the pills and let whatever happens happen but Im really struggling with the decision. Made an appointment today with a counselor for myself.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Carbon fiber install on GT-C question.

I hit an armadillo and put a scuff under the factory lip. Was going to have it fixed but I also wanted to add a little more front lip. Bought the 3 peice Paktechz CF and i and very impressed with the quality however, they offer zero installation guidance. My guess is that if it comes off and does damage this protects them.

Im familiar with 3M VHB and see where I can add a few fasteners but wondering if anyone has installed this and what you did. I'm a little leary if using panel bond if it ever needs removal/repair.

Its getting PPF now so I have some time before I install it.

Not impressed. New GT63 paint.

This is sitting on the showroom floor. Brand new marked $215k and the front cover clearly diesnt match. Unacceptable at any level much less this kind of money.

Edit: There is no PPF on this car.

Will Breitling ever make a larger Ice Blue Navitimer?

I want an Ice Blue Navi badly but I have an almost 9" wrist and have been hoping for one larger than 41mm. I actually like it better on a bracelet.

Just learned my installer never registered my equipment and I have a bad compressor

My compressor has failed on a 5 ton Comfortmaker and I found out my installer never registered the equipment. He is also no longer in business. I am at 6 years so I am outside the 5 year warranty I have for an unregistered unit.

Has anyone had any luck pleading their case to the manufacturer? My installer told me he takes care of the registration etc at the time of installation.

EDIT: Contacted manufacturer and they are going to review it for a possible exception.

Which dial looks more formal/dressy?

Love the simple classy design and thinking of buying one as semi dress watch without being too stuffy if that makes sense.

Love both colors but interested to see what others think.

Why no love for Tuff Stuff?

My buddy got me using this in HS circa 1982ish. Still my absolute favorite. Works great on everything but glass/shiny plastic. Removes dirt from everything lrarher to carpet. The smell brings me back to my youth. Crisp clean but not strong. Almost a hint if leather.

I never see it mentioned or used by anyone I know.

Maybe I'll send them the pic.

Something old, something new.

First real wash with DI rinse

Quick background, I'm on a well with 900ppm TDS. I jhve a big shop with some nice toys, two of which are black cars. I recently went deep on a RO/DI setup with a 70 gallon holding tank.

RO dropped TDS to 30 and DI to 0.

Today I finally washed the black cars, DI rinse, blew off the excess water and.....DAMN 😳

The cars are glowing. The gloss CTS-V looks better than it ever has. I had washed, DI rinsed and towel dried it a couple times. This was the first time just letting it dry and it literally removed previous water spots. My foam on the RO is THICK like shaving cream. Huge improvement.

I had asked a bunch of questions here so thank you for the advice and encouragement.

Denon bluetooth is terrible.

After a couple days of trying I finally got my Sonos Ace headphones paired to my S970H. They pair to everything else immediately andceasily.

The audio is terrible. Constantly freezes and drops out. Pairs and works perfectly with the TV directly. I would like to connect to the AVR and enjoy the better audio that SHOULD be produced over the TV bluetooth. Considering a piggyback bluetooth transmitter. Any suggestions appreciated.

RO/DI wash station finally complete.

I've been asking questions here for awhile getting ready for this project. Appreciate all your help. I dont professionally detail but own some nice cars and boats.

Its been a fun project other than too many trips io and down a 16' ladder.

I'm not a plumber but the people at Home Depot must think I am because I've spent way too much time digging through the fitting isle lol. I have a whole bag of wrong fitting to return!

The heart of the setup is the Active 2.3gph pressure washer pump. The difference between washing with it vs my old electric pressure washer is insane. Highly recommend.

My well water after the softener etc still had 900ppm of dissolved solids. Left a film on the cars so I had to use a detail spray after every wash. Now with the RO its 34ppm and the DI rinse water is 0ppm. No need to even dry after washing. It dries completely spot free.

66 gallon holding tank in the rafters fills with RO water and gravity feeds the system but I did have to add a small pump to push water through the DI filters.

If your water isn't terrible you dont need anything this extensive. It'll pay for itself in roughly 328 years. 😆

Stopping a 14' half way up?

I have two 14x14 on Chamberland openers and one side never needs to open more than half way up. Is there a way to set a stop? Something I could easily override if needed? They are equipped for the MyQ app but I have never neen able to make it connect.

What to do with this amp?

I have a Denon X3800H set up with a 7.2 layout and have this Russound PB125 amp I'm not using from a previous system. Any advantage to working it into my home theatre setup and if so, how?

I am putting this tank in my garage attic to supply RO water to my car wash setup. It will be about 15' above the RO system.

I need to install a mechanical shutoff so when its full the water supply is stopped.

What would be the best type of float valve for a tank like this? Because the flow into the tank will be relatively slow (RO pump) Im almost thinking a toilet type float valve set up on a stand inside the tank.

Before anyone asks, it will have an overflow drain. I want more capacity than a standard horizontal pressure tank. This is 66 gallons.

Ideas and suggestions appreciated.
