Is there a running club in Hosur?

Hey Guys

I've been running for a while now (intermediate level) and was wondering if there are any active running clubs or groups in Hosur.

Looking for people who do regular morning or evening runs, maybe train for 5K, 10K or even longer distances.

If anyone knows of a club, WhatsApp group, Strava community !

Dhat syndrome

What are your thoughts on Dhat syndrome? Do you think it's a legitimate psychological condition, or could it have been culturally constructed or promoted in ways that made people unnecessarily anxious about normal bodily functions?

Please suggest me what to do now

I've been using these four products consistently for the past 1.5 months:

  1. Azelaic Acid

  2. Adapalene

  3. Sunscreen

  4. Minimalist Vitamin B5/B12 Moisturizer

Unfortunately, I haven't noticed any significant improvement so far.

Could you please review my routine and let me know if I'm doing something wrong? Should I continue with these products, change anything, or add/remove something to get better results?

Can a single manic episode lead to a Bipolar I diagnosis?

Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed with Bipolar I Disorder in June 2025 following what was considered a manic episode. Before the diagnosis, I had gone through a very stressful period in my life. I had lost my job, had a serious conflict with a senior colleague, and while travelling home by plane, I had consumed alcohol, melatonin gummies, nicotine, and testosterone supplements.

After arriving at my home airport, I was taken to a hospital and remained hospitalized for about two weeks. I was initially treated with antipsychotic medications and later continued on lithium monotherapy. Over the following months, I consulted multiple psychiatrists and psychologists.

By January 2026, I stopped medication and have now been medication-free for the past five months. I continue to attend therapy, feel emotionally stable, and have not experienced any symptoms of mania, hypomania, or depression.

What makes me question the diagnosis is that two psychologists I have consulted suggested that my Bipolar I diagnosis could have been a misdiagnosis, given the circumstances surrounding the episode. However, psychiatrists have not given me a clear answer on this.

My question is: does a single manic episode automatically mean Bipolar I Disorder, or can factors such as extreme stress and substance use sometimes lead to a diagnosis that later turns out to be incorrect?

I understand that nobody here can diagnose me, but I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had a similar experience or has knowledge about this topic.

Thank you.
