I may be thinking wrong but I believe Ibushi really only has the one bow ?

Then every other elder has like 4 + weapons sometimes.

Narwa has a ton and Maggie has one in each weapon type I think.

Before anyone makes the obvious jokes: Yes I know they're 'mates' and yes, I know her weapon is a bow.

And I don't think it was because I was 'good' at the game lol

I was just...way overprepared. Brother almost got me knocked out cause he chunked two of my hearts earlier on in the fight. That being Said, I don't think I'll bother with the Royals cause there's no Medal (Thankfully) for getting them all. However I will 100% the game otherwise?

I'm just not a fan of the 'extra hard versions of already difficult thingie' bonus fights. I tackle them when / if I can, but in this game I think I would be mollywhopped especially with the elder Dragons.

So I'm in 'post game' right now. And apparently there's a way to farm Elders more appropriately? Can someone explain in finer detail? As far as I know a spesific monster appears at night near their spawn point (For example narwa and Ibushi would be near the peak of their mountain) and if I defeat it they appear instantly ? I think ?

All Sidequests: Check

All Overworld Chests: Check and Maxed out Recipes

All Invasives Slain: Check

Still says 99% for some reason and won't pop.

The only thing I can think of is properly "slaying" Narwa and Ibushi the first time but ?

I'm not sure that's the issue.

So I restored these goofy lil guys to their habitats in the ice area.

But The quest isn't letting me turn it in ?

Currently sitting at abooout, 75% ? I should get this licked soon ish I think?

Unless there's some dirty birdy quests I should be preparing for that I haven't encountered yet.

Ok so, my 16 GB Ram isn't cutting it anymore. I've shopped around, seen the price gouging.

The only thing that seems reasonable (for my budget) is a 32 GB Kit (x2 16 GB ) for abouuut...570$ ish dollerydoos. I needed to do some research to find sticks that are compatible with my unit's MB though.

My question is, ram speed is crucial for everything your pc does? Doesn't matter how beefy the rest of the unit is (My CPU and GPU are still fairly solid and can run most games fine) but not having enough ram is like ? Going from Dial Up connection to Fiber? At least that's my understanding of how Ram Works?

So I'm seeing a lot of complaints about 'no post game' which I'm not concerned about. Not every game needs a mega dungeon at the end of the story to do. (I've never been a fan of those anyway since those are usually 'hard' for the wrong reasons) Right now I'm at the penultimate 'rest to progress the story' marker. And I kind of want to 'have my fun' but I also kinda want to just see if I demolish the final boss. Earlier this week I one tried Velkhana (who really shoulda been a story boss, let's be real) fighting it blind. I still plan to soak up all the content regardless, so I'm curious what ya'll think.

So I just found out that you can ride both Melzano and Arkveld...

I know they're peanuts compared to the boss version, like most monsters. But Are they good?

I like them both equally but I think I only have room for one of them on my team.

I'm level 65 ish now? But last time I tried I did "jack shit" to the one in Azuria and got wiped instantly. I think I'm out pacing the story beats (for where I'm at) a fair bit. But I still don't think I'm ready for the elders. To be clear, I just mean making them 'retreat' to get the rare monstie to spawn.

For example our boy Hellblade Glavinous appears as early as the desert area.

I have him unlocked now, but once he's unlocked will he go away if I remove any of those monsties from the Habitat or were their presence just the trigger?

I forget when it happened but at some point during Stories 2 ( I didn't start with 1) my brain imagined it as some creature like Golem from LOTR letting out an honorable death battle cry ('tell my wife I love herrrrr' vibes ) and I couldn't unhear it. It's not like I get sent to space or anything? But I chuckle every time. It's so different from the other monster death sounds too.

Also what's your favorite monster death cry.

Right now I have Ultra Nebulan Pistolas but the traits aren't that good.

They do fine for now but if anyone has suggestions (Especially what enemy to farm.) I'm all ears. My build is about as optimized as it can get except for the weapons/weapon traits.

I'm Torn on trying out Knife or Longsword as my Melee weapon too.

Should note: This is for the 'Ether Duel Guns + Zero Zero goes BONK' build. I have most of the build set up but I don't know how to get more juice.

They did the 'hey, you can climb here' without going 'HEY, YOU, THE PLAYER, WHO HAS ZERO BRAIN CELLS, climb here!' like a lot of games do. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. The obnoxiously bright yellow paint and/or white outlines. In this game they KIND of do that, with the very obvious flat surfaces? But they don't scream at you about it, it's kinda just there. (Plus there's two tutorials that show you what cliffs you can climb and a cutscene showing a character climbing up these cliffs before you realize you can do it)

I'm looking for all of them that I have access to? (Currently in the desert)

I know Spider is mostly known for Poison and Sleep, but he'd be funny as just, a universal guy.

Heck, Bleed + Poison + Paralyze would be hilarious. I found the sleep gas move somewhere but I forget where. For Poison I'm looking for Noxious, preferibly the + version. Paralyze I have no idea where to get it. Blast Blight would be funny but I'm nowhere near strong enough to tackle brachy's yet (At least I don't think?)

ZA doesn't really 'work' that well for this challenge and Fire Red/Leaf Green is suffering.

It'd be interesting to do Professor Oak Challenge without a guide.
